Table Titans is an ongoing online comic by Scott Kurtz that chronicles the adventures of Val Bronzebottom and her friends Alan, Andrew, and Darby as they embark on adventures at and away from the gaming table. The comic started in January 2013 and is currently in its second season. The purpose of this Kickstarter is to collect the first season of Table Titans into an elegant KICKSTARTER EXCLUSIVE hardcover book, for our fans who have shown us amazing support over the debut of our comic and for anyone who has just discovered us!
Table Titans celebrates the stories and memories we create with our friends while role-playing and is a love letter to the greatest role-playing game of all time, Dungeons and Dragons.
WHAT IF I'VE NEVER PLAYED D&D... OR ANY OTHER ROLEPLAYING GAME?! WILL I STILL LIKE THIS COMIC??
If you like high adventure, swords and sorcery, action, drama, comics, laughing and a whole lot of fun then Table Titans is for you! It DOESN'T MATTER if you've played D&D! No... seriously, it doesn't matter but don't be surprised if you makes you want to try it out! Whether you're a hardened RPG vet, a casual reader with a slight interest in the game, or if you think the whole thing is plain hooey, Table Titans, or any roleplaying game, is about telling good stories!

TELL ME MORE ABOUT THIS BOOK!
Table Titans Volume 1: First Encounters is already finished and ready to print. In fact, If you like, you can go read the entire story right now online! Table Titans has already started its second major storyline, with a new page being posted online every Tuesday and Thursday.
Table Titans Volume 1: First Encounters collects season one of the Dungeons and Dragons inspired webcomic in print for the first time! This will be an oversized, full-color, action packed adventure featuring KICKSTARTER EXCLUSIVE cover treatment. That's right, the retail editions of Table Titans Volume 1: First Encounters will look completely different than the Kickstarter editions and you can only get the Kickstarter editions by being a backer!
When we first started the comic a year ago we had no idea the outpouring of love we'd receive from fans of the comic. Ever since we wrapped up the first season we've been getting asked about a print edition. So much so that it became clear to us that we NEEDED to Kickstart this book. Because alone we could print these comics but TOGETHER we can make a tome worthy of our fans!

UMMM... THAT BOOK LOOKS PRETTY NORMAL, HARDLY A "TOME" WORTH OF MY ILLUSTRIOUS BOOKSHELF!
Notice that "Designs Not Final" asterisk at the bottom there? That's because the book isn't designed yet. You see, if we'd done a design it's be a good book but with your help we can make it a great book. Our very first stretch goal features book design by the award-winning designer of the Scott Pilgrim and Sixth Gun series, Keith Wood!
UPDATE: Standard Edition Mockup from Keith Wood! (not-final)
Because our backers are amazing we funded almost immediately and got Keith started right away. He's already sent us a 3D mockup of the Standard Edition book! Please note that the art is not final but this is very close to what the cover and interior design will look like. We're hoping to have a mockup of the Deluxe Edition soon!

UPDATE: Deluxe Edition Concept Mockup from Keith Wood! (not-final)
Keith is on FIRE! We just got the concept of the Deluxe Edition and we're floored. It's a little hard to see in pics but that's PURPLE FAUX LEATHER with GOLD FOIL. Keith is also planning on adding lots of intricate details to the cover in the form of effects, deboss, and emboss, but they're not worked into the design yet. More pics coming

WHOA, REALLY?!
Yeah, and it only gets better from there. With your help we can fill the books with extras, bonus content, and special features. Every penny we make from the Kickstarter will be going right back into the books.
BONUS CONTENT AND EXTRAS! LIKE WHAT? ELABORATE!!!
Well, we don't want to reveal all our goals at once but you might have noticed that there's a lot of content on the Table Titans website other than the comic. After all, the comic is inspired by a game. Plus, with Keith Wood potentially designing the book who knows what kinda crazy KICKSTARTER EXCLUSIVE cover treatments he's going to put in there. These books can only get better! We KNOW our fans can make this book amazing, let's turn Table Titans Volume 1: First Encounters from a one night adventure into a year long campaign.
SOUNDS GREAT, I LOVE BOOKS, BUT TELL ME ABOUT ALL THE OTHER LOOT!
OH HO! Adventurers after all, eh?! Well don't worry, we've got you covered with KICKSTARTER EXCLUSIVE tee-shirts, dice bags, even a 5" vinyl figure of Val the Barbarian, and for those Pinny Arcade collectors out there we've got a special pin just for you!

We're so fortunate to get to work directly with the folks at WeLoveFine.com and almost all of our rewards are being produced by them. Everything is in the design/prototype stages right now but we'll be posting updates, pics, and final versions on our backer blog so backers will get to see the whole process as it happens!
I'M READY FOR ADVENTURE!
HUZZAH and thank you! Take a gander at the Reward Table below and back our book on the right. Together we're going to make an amazing book and a fantastic piece of art. Chose your rewards wisely and remember: "Titans never say die!"
