*All pledge levels will receive the exact same game including KS exclusives and stretch goals*
We've subsidized a large amount of the cost to keep these prices as low as we possibly can while still providing quality shipping services.
Daniel Aronson, Michael Howard, and Nick Tompkins have launched two successful Kickstarter campaigns: The Island of El Dorado in 2017, and The Thieves of El Dorado expansion in 2018. The incredible support from backers around the world has allowed the three of us to push our chips in and make this our full-time jobs.
We started designing Taco Fight in January of 2018, and we've worked our little fingers to the bone to make sure this game was as easy to learn and fun to play as it could possibly be.
It took us an immeasurable amount of work and innumerable revisions to get to this point. Over 3000 prototype cards (many of which were drawn by hand), 53 versions of the rulebook, and more playtests than we can count have made this game an absolute blast. We even sent a copy of the game on a four-mouth nationwide playtest tour with the help of some of our amazing facebook followers! Learn more about the playtest tour in the video below.
You can have real input - Help us make Taco Fight even better! We always have our eye on the messages, emails, and kickstarter comments we receive. Your ideas can become part of the game!
It won't happen without you - There are currently no plans to bring Taco Fight to any retail marketplaces, so this limited print run of the game may be your only chance to get your own copy!
Kickstarter Exclusives - The KS edition of the game features exclusive cards, pieces, and unlocked items which you won’t be able to get anywhere but here. Even if the game does end up in stores, the version sold there will be the standard edition without any of the exclusives or unlocked stretch goals from this campaign.
The incredible art of Taco Fight was created by Trey Ingram, a designer and illustrator living in St. Augustine, Florida. He specializes in illustration, branding, and package design to create timeless visual solutions. Check out his work here: https://treyingram.com
Legal Stuff (...sigh): By pledging to this project, you acknowledge that the final look, materials, and content of the project are subject to change and may differ substantially from what is presented on this Kickstarter page.
If you do not log in and confirm your pledge within 4 weeks of our notification via email to do so, you agree that we have fulfilled our obligations to you in full for payment or donations received. If you contact us to confirm your pledge after the 4 week window has elapsed, we may choose to either refund or ship your pledge at our discretion.
When you confirm your pledge within the aforementioned 4 week window, you agree that our responsibility to you is to ship your order as entered into our pledge management system and you agree that title and risk passes to you upon delivery to a common carrier for such shipment. Furthermore, you agree that when shipping to countries other than those specifically listed as being “friendly” (above) you are responsible for import duties or any other duties that may be payable to the relevant tax authorities, providing correct address information, and ensuring this address is deliverable by normal methods. We regret that we are unable to ship to PO Boxes.
If these terms are not acceptable to you, we suggest that you contact us before pledging and/or reconsider your participation in this crowdfunding campaign. Thank you for your understanding.
Risks and challenges
Our first campaign was successfully delivered to 4500+ backers around the world early or on time, and our second campaign is on pace to repeat this! We do everything we can to maintain this standard, but timeframe is always our biggest risk. Even so, Panda Manufacturing is the best in the business, and we’ve built some room into the timeline to allow for delays while still getting your game to you when promised!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
