Noble Creature Skins
We are making an extra effort to provide some exciting new reward bonuses for backers at Wizard Lord level and above - so I would like to introduce to you the Noble Creature Skins:
If you back at Wizard Lord, you can choose a selection of 12 of your creatures to be nobles - which means that they have more splendid weapons and attire, encrusted with gold. You will be able to select which creatures are to be ennobled, and you can change the selection before any battle. For those of you that back at Wizard King level and above, all your creatures will be noble by default, but you can also select 12 of your creatures to have Royal Skins (images to follow in a future update). These are aesthetic changes, and have no effect on the creature's abilities, but they will sure earn some respect from your less aristocratic opponents. These skins are exclusive to backers - you won't be able to earn them in game. Only the old aristocracy have this privilege.
The Hellhound is a chaotic, magical beast with the body of a large dog and three howling heads. The central head has magical eyes that can project a paralysing stare. This is a ranged magical attack that can immobilise a target creature until it manages to break free of the spell. Those of you who have played one of my other wizard themed games, 'Magic & Mayhem,' will recognise this creature from that game.
You really must take a look at Armello. This wonderfully enchanting game is a digital fantasy boardgame brought to life with animation everywhere - even on the cards. It has features that I really like to see - up to four players competing locally or online and procedurally generated map and quests. The team have been working for years on this game, and the quality shows. It's coming to iPad and PC/Mac/linux - DRM free. Check out the project page here.
Lovingly called "The 5-Minute Civilization", Hero Generations is an Indie strategy/rogue-like about life, legacy & love from the creator of Highgrounds. You play a rapidly aging hero that explores a procedurally generated world in search of fame and a mate to settle down with before you die. After your life ends, you continue on adventuring as your child. It has been described as the offspring of Sid Meier's Civilization, Jason Rohrer's Passage, and The Legend of Zelda.
