The video above was filmed several years ago. Many of you have already viewed it and have wondered what has taken place since. It took a lot of hard work to run a business and go to school full time while raising 4 boys, but we're happy to report that Jason graduated from SUU with his bachelors degree in May of 2012. Thanks to many loyal customers, we were able to pay for all of his schooling.
The Pizza Cart has now been open for four years. We've been out there year round, in temperatures ranging from -4 degrees to over 100 degrees. Wind, rain, snow, you name it. We have loved running the cart, but we'd like a more comfortable environment for us and our employees. Also, in order grow the business the way we'd like, we feel we need to move to an indoor location. The cost of an indoor location far surpasses that of the cart, so we're asking for help. We're not seeking free money; we've put together some great rewards that we think you'll be excited about. Here's a look at our t-shirt (may vary slightly)-
The money we collect will go towards equipment that we'll need plus supplies for Jason to build a MUCH larger oven. And a larger oven means less wait time for you (we hope)!

Feel free to contact us with any questions you have. We've already answered a few that we're sure will come up-
Where will the new location be? 1190 S Sage Dr., in the 2 spots right between Dickey's and Tropical Smoothie Cafe.
When will you open? We're giving ourselves about 3 months to finish construction, so barring any unforeseen setbacks, we should be ready to open around the first of November. Just in time to get out of the cold!
Will the menu change? We'll still have all of your favorites but will add a few new ones as well. Slices will be added to the lunch menu. We'll also be adding salads, desserts and drinks to the menu.
Will you raise your prices? It's very important to us to keep our pizzas affordable. We haven't raised our prices in the past four years even though our food costs haven risen significantly. We may raise prices about $.50 per pizza to offset our rising food costs.
Will there be seating? You can dine in or take out. We won't be waiting tables, but you're welcome to stay and eat!
Will you be hiring? Yes! We're going to need a lot of good help. We'll let you know as soon as we're ready to start the hiring process.
And most importantly.....will the guy with the mustache still be around? Yes! At least for a while. We'll take him while we can. We all love Brandon!
Remember kickstarter is all or nothing, so if we don't reach our $15,000 goal in 25 days, we don't get any funds from you. We've worked very hard to make it this far, so please share with your friends and family.
To Shawn Ekker (Ekker Design) for help in construction and design. To Joe Rawlings (SLC Anthropologie store designer) for help with our logo, design and decor. To Karsten Reed (Utah South Appraisal) for helping us wade through all the legal ̶n̶o̶n̶s̶e̶n̶s̶e̶ fun and keeping us smiling throughout the process. To all of our family, friends and customers who have supported us over the past four years.
Thank you so much for your support. We love our customers!
Risks and challenges
There are always risks associated with opening a business but because we've already been running this business for four years and have a solid customer base, we feel good about expanding. We've worked hard with city officials to make sure we've met all the requirements of an indoor restaurant and feel confident that we'll be successful. We hope to have all renovations finished within three months, but will keep you updated if there are any setbacks. We will keep our mobile unit open in the meantime so you won't miss out on any pizza time.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
