Long Overdue July 2016 Update
Sorry that it has been way too long between updates. I'll try to make them more frequent. Dan does post updates periodically to his Facebook page and on the comments page here so I hope you have been following him in both places. But let's start with the news you all want to hear: the book has been fully penciled and is now over 60% painted. That leaves about 30 pages or so for Dan to paint before it can go to scripting and lettering (with more than 50 already painted). But the end is finally beginning to peek its face through the distance. If we don't have any more unforeseen "surprises" (like the medical issues in Dan's family), we are hoping to have the book fully done by year end.
I'll get out a new update by the end of July outlining the monthly progress. Speaking of which, Dan will be at the San Diego Comic-Con later this month and will be located at Booth 4903 in conjunction with Big Wow Art. Please stop by and chat. We'll be more than happy to outline our progress and show some snippets of the upcoming book.
Finally, Dan has a new artbook ("Mercenary") which is currently running on Kickstarter. It has successfully funded but can always use more backers. This book features a variety of art created by Dan before the Sinister Path book commenced (so it is not delaying work on this project) and is very much in the vein of our previous books: Sorceress, Siren and Enchantress. We hope you like it! Best, Steve (and Dan).
