Hi Marina! I'm lookin forward to receiving the books (I'm a 2 copies early bid)!

I've read that everything has already been shipped.. I haven't received mine yet. Do you have any sort of tracking?

      Thank you so much!

    5. Marina Poropat Joyce 2-time creator on February 13

@Shannon Fay, I will try to track your order. We have definitely had the most issues with Canadian deliveries. I figured the toughest would be Asia or Australia but no. I will PM you an answer

      Hi,

I am still waiting to receive my 2 copies of your book. Is there any way to check if it is in transit? (Shipping address is in Canada)

@Brian Saxon I cannot send the survey, the survey is sent by Kickstarter. I did email all non-responders to their email account (shown on Kickstarter) on January 30th (for the second time). Please message me with your shipping address and whether or not you want your book signed. Thanks!

    8. Brian Saxon on February 8

I still haven't received my book, although my wife received her copy weeks ago. The only note I have is reminding me to fill out a survey, but the only survey link I received referred to the color of ribbons.

Actually I ought to point out that the cover on my copy has also curled quite badly. I thought it would settle down but it has only gotten worse overnight. Much more so on the front than on the back so perhaps its the varnish? Its a shame as it IS a book about understanding and getting the best out of print :-/

Maybe a heavier weight on future runs would help? I still love my copy though!

Just received my copy today and it is a thing of beauty, well done! Although I already know a great deal about the contents I have also already learned something new! It will be a wonderful resource. I think this book deserves a place in every college graphic design course.

It's bigger than I expected as well!

Stunning! What an accomplishment—thanks so much.

I'm a "two copies" backer and I received four copies by accident. How can I return the extra two copies?

Thanks again for such a fantastic resource!

I’m loving the book! It is so gorgeous and so informative! I have one suggestion for future iterations of the book: the book spent some time at my office which can sometimes get stuffy with co2, and the cover curled up a bit from the moisture, and was the only book in my office to do so. It surprised me! Maybe a different coating would prevent this in future prints? Mine is all sorted out now after putting it under some heavier books, so no worries!

Might I suggest you buy some boxes to ship these in? The priority envelope mine was shipped in offered zero protection to damage. For the price paid this should of been protected with foam and a simple box made for books to protect them

Hi Marine, any news? Being on press on Dec 4th I really expected a flurry of updates, even photos from the backers drinks night, press proofs, news on how the foil blocking went. Something. The silence after the fact is a little unsettling. I also see that someone below never received their PDF which only adds to the unease. I'm sure you are busy but please update us when you can.

Hi do you have some news for the book ?

    29. Marina Poropat Joyce 2-time creator on October 6, 2017

@HOUSEOFCAKES you are right it is not in the Bridge set, there is a specialized process selector from Pantone... I would send you to the Pantone website but it's a nightmare... 2,868 cmyk combinations. This is what I use when building cmyk color. https://www.amazon.com/PANTONE-GP5101-Plus-Cmyk-Guide/dp/1590653343/ref=pd_sim_14_5…

    30. HOUSEOFCAKES on October 6, 2017

@Marina I have Pantone books (process, spot, bridge) as well as TruMatch, but they don't cover the true CMYK spectrum. So it's just weird that there's no source out there for the full CMYK color combination.

Hi, Its there gonna be a backer party fot all of us ???
Thanks and I cant wait to received this book its looks awesome

    32. Marina Poropat Joyce 2-time creator on September 25, 2017

HOUSEOFCAKES there's definitely information about color systems in the book! The Pantone CMYK guides are pretty awesome though, as is the COLOR BRIDGE SET, my personal fave!

    33. HOUSEOFCAKES on September 25, 2017

It would be great if there were a CMYK swatch chart that was not Pantone system. Back in the day, my creative director made one that was almost every CMYK combination in 10% increments and had match prints made. These were gold as I have never seen anything like it again and there are CMYK books in print but they vary b/c they are mass printed. Pantone doesn't have the range that true CMYK does. :)

Hi Mary, All of the PDF's are in the book. Right now there is no plan to distribute them to book recipients.

    37. Marina Poropat Joyce 2-time creator on September 20, 2017

Hi Eric Roberts, great question! It is due to lack of space... but if we can push that envelope we will!!!

Obviously it would require more funds, but it would be really cool if the book had 4 ribbons, one in each standard color of ink used. CMYK.

Is the reason for only two colors more due to funds or lack of space in the spine?

Hi Rob Sherrard, All of the Infomaniac material is in the book. The PDF is a compilation of 46 pages from the 208 page book. I pulled those 46 pages to be able to offer a lower priced alternative to the entire book. Thanks for asking this terrific question!

Hi Lauren Vajda, distributing decision tree pdf's to backers is not planned at the moment because that is a backer reward through the Kickstarter. After the Kickstarter they may be distributed to subscribers at designingforprint.com

    44. Lauren Vajda on September 19, 2017

Will book backers also receive the PDFs of the decision trees?
