@HOUSEOFCAKES you are right it is not in the Bridge set, there is a specialized process selector from Pantone... I would send you to the Pantone website but it's a nightmare... 2,868 cmyk combinations. This is what I use when building cmyk color. https://www.amazon.com/PANTONE-GP5101-Plus-Cmyk-Guide/dp/1590653343/ref=pd_sim_14_5…

@Marina I have Pantone books (process, spot, bridge) as well as TruMatch, but they don't cover the true CMYK spectrum. So it's just weird that there's no source out there for the full CMYK color combination.

Hi, Its there gonna be a backer party fot all of us ???
Thanks and I cant wait to received this book its looks awesome

    9. Marina Poropat Joyce 2-time creator on September 25

HOUSEOFCAKES there's definitely information about color systems in the book! The Pantone CMYK guides are pretty awesome though, as is the COLOR BRIDGE SET, my personal fave!

    10. HOUSEOFCAKES on September 25

It would be great if there were a CMYK swatch chart that was not Pantone system. Back in the day, my creative director made one that was almost every CMYK combination in 10% increments and had match prints made. These were gold as I have never seen anything like it again and there are CMYK books in print but they vary b/c they are mass printed. Pantone doesn't have the range that true CMYK does. :)

Hi Mary, All of the PDF's are in the book. Right now there is no plan to distribute them to book recipients.

Hi Eric Roberts, great question! It is due to lack of space... but if we can push that envelope we will!!!

Obviously it would require more funds, but it would be really cool if the book had 4 ribbons, one in each standard color of ink used. CMYK.

Is the reason for only two colors more due to funds or lack of space in the spine?

I have pledged to get the book, but I would love to receive the pdfs from the lower tiers too? Will we receive those as well?

Hi Rob Sherrard, All of the Infomaniac material is in the book. The PDF is a compilation of 46 pages from the 208 page book. I pulled those 46 pages to be able to offer a lower priced alternative to the entire book. Thanks for asking this terrific question!

Hi Marina, How much, if any, of the Infomaniac material is covered by the book. At one place I see it referred to as Appendix.

Hi Lauren Vajda, distributing decision tree pdf's to backers is not planned at the moment because that is a backer reward through the Kickstarter. After the Kickstarter they may be distributed to subscribers at designingforprint.com

    21. Lauren Vajda on September 19

Will book backers also receive the PDFs of the decision trees?

Hi Kimberly, I agree with you! High-five to another female print shop owner! Are you going to PRINT17?

    28. Kimberly Lawton Koon on August 24

What an exciting book! As owner of a commercial printing company, these tools can not only help you build beautifully designed printed pieces but can also help create better relationships with you and your print manufacturer.

Hi Traci, I took a look and I think the best way to make an additional amount is this: When you click on the reward you want the reward box expands and the cursor is in the pledge amount field. You can edit that amount. Let me know if that works!

    30. Marina Poropat Joyce 2-time creator on August 12

Hi Traci! That's so awesome you want to do that. I think you might have to make two pledges? I do not have a ton of internet where I am right now but I can delve into it tomorrow. Thanks for asking!

I am backing this but would like to make an additional pledge amount in addition to my pledge. The only option it gives me is to change my pledge as "instead of" I don't want to change my original pledge, I want to make an additional one. How do I do that?
