9 Hours to Go... Can we get to $23,000?
Well, the time has finally come... our last update. The restaurant has been busy and, like seemingly everyone else on the east coast, struggling to stay cool in the heat. With the marathon passing through Bryant Street on Sunday, E2 prepared donuts and coffee for those folks visiting the neighborhood to support the participants. Our thoughts are with those runners who required treatment as a result of the high heat index and humidity.
The campaign ends tonight and we are all still figuring out how to process all of the generosity and support that our friends, old and new, have extended to us throughout these last 30 days. We all view our Party Dungeon in a much different light, knowing that, in two short months, it will be transformed into something more beautiful and undeniably our own. Walking through the Hall of Heroes -- our memorial to all of you -- will remind us every day how lucky we are to have such fabulous friends and supporters. Thank you.
It's important that we take a moment to acknowledge the hard work and contributions from our sterling filmmaker, Erin Preston. Erin donated innumerable hours to the filming and editing of our Kickstarter video and video testimonials. She flew out to help us from Denver, Colorado and finished the editing process at a coffee shop in Bolivia. She is a true blessing and we love her. Thank you, Erin.
Check out or final video testimonial below. Filmed by Erin, this testimonial features former E2 server and forever E2 friend, Lauren Mansky. Enjoy.
