Created to inspire, perform and endure, the NORTHSOUTH ‘MAX YOUR DAYS’ socks are the ultimate socks for cyclists, travellers and business people alike. Combining a variety of innovative high-tech functions, these ultralight socks are designed with maximum performance and comfort in mind. Reinforcements at the ankles for stability and a network of ventilation within the footbed provide cool, dry air to the inside of the sock whilst the reflective logo ensures maximum visibility to the outside world. Aiding comfort and fit, the socks are made from a highly breathable stretch fabric blend that promotes airflow and makes for an extremely pleasant foot climate. The extra flat construction prevents the bunching up of material to create a frictionless, blister-free, dry foot.
Technical gibberish aside, these socks were designed to look good and feel good, no matter what you’re doing. Whether you’re going for your morning ride, working at your computer or cruising at 40,000 feet, the MAX YOUR DAYS socks are there to remind you of what you should be doing with your day – and with these socks, there are no excuses.
The socks are currently only available in black or white but we plan to introduce multiple colourways in the coming 12 months. We’re offering two sizes, small/medium (US 6-9 / EU 39/42) and large/extra-large (US 10-13 / EU 43/46). For those that put in a pre-order for socks, you will be sent a survey as soon as the campaign is over where you can select your size and colour/s. Procurement and postage will follow soon after. FYI money will only be debited from your account when, and if the campaign is successful.
Wear5050 was born from a desire to do more for conserving the places that we love to explore. It is a business model that not only helps empower more people to make tomorrow a better place, but represents a greater equality between humans and nature. The idea was to take a more holistic approach to protect the environment, with 50% of profits funding organisations that are working to preserve the wild and wonderful places that still exist in the world.

We are currently in negotiation with the Australian Wildlife Conservancy and Bush Heritage Australia as key organisations to support if the Kickstarter is successful. The plan is to have a 12 month contract with one of these organisations and direct the funds towards a specific region within Australia. After 12 months, we'll visit the location and make a film about the impact that we've had on the environment.

It mightn’t always be sensible but when we say we’re going to do something, we do it. Just ask our poor mums. When we said we were going to travel to India to ride shoddy mountain bikes across the highest road in the world, we did it. We’ve spent more than a year now designing, prototyping and fine-tuning the manufacturing process to make sure that this thing goes off without a hitch. We’re working with one of the best sock manufacturers in the world, with a track record for attention quality and craftsmanship – we know this because we’ve completed several smaller production runs with these guys and their professionalism really is second to none. All that’s left to do is to press the order button and that’s where you guys come in. The second that we have the funds to cover the order, the production process will be underway and the socks will be in your hands as soon as we can physically get them to you – that’s our guarantee. All of this from a professional team who are ready to work ourselves into the ground over the next couple months to make sure that this all runs smoothly.
