UPDATE: Fulfilment Status

Posted by REC Watches (Creator)
  • Hi everyone!
  • We're been working double time for the last 72 hours on fulfilment (mandatory pictures below) - as all orders will be sent out tomorrow! There's still a LOT to do, so this update is a short one. I will be making a much more elaborate project update tomorrow or latest saturday. As such, to all the people who have tried to reach us via phone/email/facebook/instagram/kickstarter/smoke signals -- we're not ignoring you, and I will get back to all inquiries once the storm has died down.
  • However, I do need to address some fulfilment issues that have come up:

    1. Some of you have apparently received an email that indicates that you're being charged for shipping. I want to strongly emphasize that this is not the case (before I have a riot on my hands). Shipping is 100% free for all backers, any information to the contrary is wrong!

    2. This point does not relate to backers from Denmark and Russia, where we will be shipping with POST Danmark. Tomorrow you will all receive a unique tracking number directly from FedEx, from where you can actively track your delivery status. Delivery with FedEx normally takes 2-4 working days.  If you do not have your tracking number latest by TUESDAY, please contact me at

    3. I know many of you are very excited to receive your watch(es), and this point certainly wont help. The watches look DAMNED amazing!! (I'm not even gonna try to ruin the moment with my horrible iPhone images again). The quality control of the watches went beyond all expectations, and have ALL been checked by a watchmaker!

    4. Some of the Kevlar straps did not pass QC. This will affect a small handful of you (8-9), and we will notify those affected as soon as possible. Of course, those straps will still be fulfilled, just at a slightly later stage - and naturally it's on the house!

    5. Please please please don't call me via phone until Saturday, as I really want to focus on the fulfilment! I will get back to all inquiries as soon as I can!

  • Most likely I will have missed some points in this update, and its likely filled with spelling and grammar mistakes (I can't seem to get rid og these damned bullet points!!). Please excuse these, and give us another (max) 48 hours to get back to you with much more information :-)

This will be a long night!! Rock on!!

    Coffee-induced regards,

Hello All, I think this is a Fedex issue rather than a REC watches issue. They've picked up a lot of packages and it takes them time to enter into their system then spit back out the emails with the tracking numbers. Technology ain't as great as you think it is. With that said while I was looking for my email notification fedex rang the bell and delivered the watch. I have to say that this is an amazing watch with great quality, you will not be disappointed. This was definitely worth the wait. This is a keeper! I want to thank REC watches and I would just urge some patience.

Why should I wait until Tuesday for a tracking number of a parcel that is sent Friday. The parcel itself should have arrived by Tuesday. I am worried that my watch was not sent yesterday by some soft of mistake and just wanted to know if someone really received a tracking number?

I did not receive my tracking number. Did someone get it?
