Have you ever made a resolution you had difficulty sticking to? You are not alone..
We are the7thFl, a creative studio consisting of people who believe that simple, considerate Design can impact people's lives in many positive ways. This particular project was inspired by people's motivation to improve themselves (which as you know happens a lot at the beginning of a new year).
Some studies state that it takes about 21 days to form a new habit. Although this may not be an exact science, it certainly feels like a good way to start a positive change in your lifestyle. We would like to challenge you to make a self-improvement goal, no matter how big or small, and help you stick to it.
better. is a simple printed pad that makes the difficult process of habit change satisfying and encouraging. No unnecessary tech. No needless gimmicks.
Starting with day one, tear off one page a day, until you reach day 21. The red ripple pattern, like the growing rings on a tree, expands every day to mark your journey, and give you a visual idea of your progress.
It's all about small victories- the last page of the pad contains a special sticker prize. Each sticker will be accompanied by an explanation. The sticker you receive is random, and only you will know it's meaning.
We believe that self-improvement is a very intimate process, so it only seems fitting that the conclusion is an inside joke with yourself to remind you of what you have achieved. This journey is yours, and yours alone- the sticker you receive will come with a quirky pun explaining its meaning.
Limited edition make/100
As part of Kickstarter's make/100 we are offering a limited edition gold foil reward sticker- just select "limited edition make/100" reward option.
Attention to detail
better. is a carefully designed, high-quality print. We are using traditional offset printing and a heavier paper stock to underline the value of this experience.
Each day is a special event, and we want you to celebrate your process and personal growth. What you do with the individual pages is entirely up to you.
Risks and challenges
In terms of manufacturing, we do not expect to come across any difficulties. Printed media has a reliable and somewhat predictable production timeline, but we will certainly keep you informed about any unexpected events.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
