Thanks for letting us know the latest movie is on Amazon Prime... I am watching it now. Had to pause and let you know I have added comments/ratings to both Rotten Tomatoes and IMDB. Truthfully, I didn't even know you'd been active so long! Great way to raise consciousness with creativity.

In October you said something about a Canada film release. Now its another half a year later. No news.

This is really disappointing guys. We gave you nearly 150.000 dollars on Kickstarter, and you can't take the time to comment on your progress since January 2013??

Hi, just wanted to say: love you guys! You ve played a good part in my intelectual development, along with other good people like Chomsky. The elites want us to fight a war between nations on behalf of global competition, but that's not our war, and we can perfectly live without them.
      You are amazing.

you guys are rad. love this project!! i only wish there were more like these on kickstarter. hopefully this will be an inspiration for other would-be revolutionaries.

      DEATH TO TYRANNY!!

p.s. in the interests of maintaining a positive vibe & not being a revolting troll, i will refrain from calling out a certain disgruntled briton with respect to gripes about shipping costs outside of the U.S.

suffice it to say that kickstarter is not a marketplace, it is a platform for facilitating grassroots support. the prizes are really secondary, and for a project with this sort of ambition, perhaps even tertiary or-- goddamn it, i'll say it-- quaternary. i'll leave the hyperbole there since i don't know what the word for 5-ary is and pentiary doesn't sound right.

my point is, the prizes are beside the point. if you believe in the project, back it. if the Toy Surprise Inside is the only thing that's motivating you, then perhaps this ain't really your box of cracker jacks. that is all.

    36. The Yes Men Creator on November 9, 2012

Very true, John! Thanks for being so revolting yourself. Of course, it is a minimum goal, and it's important to remember that every dollar over that minimum is a dollar less we have to raise later, and the quicker we can finish the film. Thanks so much for your support!

    37. John Heerens on November 9, 2012

Only a quarter of the goal left. We are so revolting!

    38. John Heerens on November 5, 2012

I live in the Netherlands and I don't feel excluded. Shipping is nasty business. Often it just isn't possible to get good prizes for it. Also it costs a lot of time and energy to figure out what the costs are exactly for every place you might want to send it to. All that extra energy can go into this movie instead, so we pay a little extra (and not even a ridiculous or unfair amount). I can't say I mind.

    39. The Yes Men Creator on November 5, 2012

Hey Paul, thanks for your comment. We don't mean to make it harder for people outside of the US to help fund our project; that said, since we're currently based in New York, we do have to ship the incentive gifts from here. And, unfortunately, it costs much more to send boxes full of Yes Men goodies outside of the United States. The extra money covers shipping & handling and allows all of your gift to go straight to the project that we're trying to create. All that said, we're so grateful for your support. Thank you.

    40. Paul Caulfield on November 5, 2012

      Well done all.

As someone in the UK I am a little disappointed with the very US centred view that those in the US get pledge gifts free, then there is the entire rest of the planet over 6.8 Billion people lumped together under ROW who are charged very very expensive postage. Not very progressive or inclusive guys!!!!!

    41. John Heerens on November 1, 2012

      Almost hit 60.000!

Unfortunately, Amazon Payments is the only method to pay via Kickstarter. Check out our FAQ at the bottom of the main page for more information. Thanks so much for your pledge!

Hi, good luck with your project. I only pledged $25 buck but it was collected amazon which is one of the most exploitative fulfillment houses. The hide by sub-contracting out warehouse labor and pay crappy wages. Can't you find a more worker frieldly way of collecting payments. I know it is very difficult and they have a near monopoly in some cases, but please take a look.
      Thanks

      Chris

    49. The Yes Men Creator on October 28, 2012

Of course we'd love to go all copyleft - depends on how much we're able to raise through Kickstarter. The more we raise here, the less we have to seek outside sources (who tend to bring caveats to the distribution process). So... short answer: hopefully, but we need more help to do it!
