What is it?
The Ball-Buddy is a basketball training product that allows a single player to give him/herself an assist. It puts the ball in the perfect position for the player to work on various types of cuts and movements all over the court.
Where did it come from?
Tired of watching players drag metal chairs across the floor, try to spin the ball to themselves with no luck, or even pick the ball up off the ground, we thought there has to be a better way. The Ball-Buddy is 3 years in the making. After many prototypes and trial and error, we have developed a simple yet revolutionary training product that has been tested in training sessions with players of all ages from pre-k to professional athletes.
What is it made of?
The Ball-Buddy is made of high grade plastic that can withstand the wear and tear of rugged use. It is height adjustable via a simple telescoping mechanism. The rubber base is non-marring and will not scuff even the nicest wood floors, but it is also perfect for the driveway.

The hard part is done! Now we need your help to make it a reality. We just need to raise the capital to get production started and get the Ball-Buddy in the hands of the players. We are confident they will be well received. Not a basketball player? No worries.. you can purchase one for a player you know!

By building the Ball-Buddy with all sourced parts, we hope to have averted potential delays and issues in regards to production. However, there is always the potential for unforseen challenges. We will tackle these head on with complete transparency and communication with our backers.
The fulfillment process will begin as soon as the campaign ends. T-shirts will be sent out the next day. Ball-Buddy will require a 4-5 week lead time to ascertain sourced parts. We do not anticipate any further delays.
The initial production will be handled "in-house:, due to the fact that all parts are sourced and require minimal assembly. This will be done in a local workshop graciously donated to us for this purpose. we anticipate hands on production to take 2 weeks from receipt of parts to shipping of product. the workshop will be staffed by volunteers ( of which we have many!) to fulfill orders. As production needs grow, we will then make the appropriate move to outsourcing production. We have already been in contact with several interested parties.
