TMP TEASER 1:
ABOUT 'THE MONSTER PROJECT'
The Monster Project is a found-footage feature horror film about three young filmmakers who set out to find and interview people who claim to be real monsters for a documentary they were hired to make. Unfortunately for them, what they discover is much bigger than they expected.
This campaign is the starting point for the film's financing. If and when our funding goal is reached, we will be ready to roll our cameras and start the production of the film! The script is complete, the cast & crew is on board, and post-production is on standby! We plan on using high-end stunts for the film, and will be using the help of some of our professional stunt coordinators. Our 3 main creature actors are professional stunt actors who have a tremendous amount of experience with wire work and are also fantastic at creature work & movement. The cast & crew have also worked on several projects together, which will allow for a very smooth and productive filming process. We also have access to some of the best SFX make-up artists in the industry with whom we have worked with on countless projects.
We aim to release the film around Halloween 2013 with the launch of a strong and complex viral marketing campaign, and have access to distributors who will help us with the release of the film.

Risks and challenges
Our biggest challenge will be filming the action scenes in a short amount of time. We will have a limited amount of days in our primary location to build and use the stunt rigs. Luckily, everything will be strictly scheduled and planned out ahead of time in order for a smooth shoot.
We also want to make sure that you are aware that even though we would like for The Monster Project to get a wide theatrical release, we cannot guarantee the realization of this goal. However, we are confident that the project will at the very least hit DVD distribution and streaming websites such as Netflix and gain international attention!
