Stretch Goal Unveiled
Stretch goal #1: £6,000 - Unlock new colours for SteelConnect 1.0
Besides Black and brushed silver, we figured that SteelConnect has better potential to be more fashionable with new colours. Introducing the Steel Orange, Steel Green and Steel White. This 3 colours will be added into selection for all backers who had pledge for SteelConnect 1.0. Don't worry, a survey form will be send to you after the campaign for selection.
Stretch goal #2: £7,500 - Unlock SteelConnect 2.0
We know many are excited with the introduction of SteelConnect 2.0 as in the forum. We are still refining the look, discussing with our manufacturer. We want it to be the best adapter for our supporter. As mentioned we are unable to meet manufacturer requirement if we do not reach a certain volume. However, we believe that our backers will love 2.0 as we do and we don't want our backers to wait too long. Perhaps unlocking SteelConnect 2.0 at a closer goal is the best way to show our sincere appreciation and confidence. More details will be updated when we achieved our stretch goal #2.
Stretch goal #3: £10,000 - Unlock PVD Titanium Champagne Gold SteelConnect 2.0 + Free a pair of 22mm Spring bar for every SteelConnect you've pledged
Its time for Appreciation! We are giving out a FREE pair of "22mm Screw Bar " for every backers once we surpass the £10,000 stretch goal. This is our little gift as a return to your warmest support. Along with the free gift we will be unlocking a new pledge for PVD Titanium Champagne Gold SteelConnect 2.0 for selection (LIMITED).

YES! We have received our Black Matte Pebble Steel! Don't Envy XD (We know many of you out there can’t wait to receive yours. We truly believe that your Pebble is on its way to you and shall reach you real soon. AND Believe Us, It’s Worth The WAIT!)
We are the hardcore fans of smart-watch, and particularly Pebble, which dresses technology with fabulous fashion. Pebble is the one which never leave our wrists. We were so excited when we found out that Pebble is releasing a brand new watch - Pebble Steel. Without second thought, we ordered it (Black Matte : ) the minute it is available for order on 6th Jan 2014.
However, soon after we’ve read the reviews from the main tech review sites, we realized that those who own Pebble are having the same concern as us -- lack of freedom in sharing the strap at the moment, in which occur to us that how about those straps that we’ve purchased for our previous Pebble? We had searched high and low for similar 3rd-parties straps but nothing came along. Just like all the other Pebble fans out there, we have this question – do we have any alternative? Light bulb! < How about creating a connector in between our beloved Pebble Steel and the strap/band! >

Some initial drawings and ideas of SteelConnect!
Design & Prototype
The SteelConnect is designed to complement your Pebble Steel. The shaping flows smoothly with the little slope that originates from the Pebble Steel itself. You will never feel awkward or bored with SteelConnect, as it connects perfectly like it’s genuinely belonged with your Pebble Steel.
The pin hole is CNC directly from one end to another. The purpose is to make sure that the strap/band is easily replaced and removed, especially for the metal band. As we all know, the removal of the soft leather or silicon band is easy whereby all we need to do is to put a little force on its pin and it could then be removed with a watch tool but this is not the normal case for steel band. However, SteelConnect’s outer pin hole simply does the job for you!
How does it works?
We remain a tiny hole to fit in the flathead screw bar nicely. Only TWO simple steps are required - Get a 1.5mm flathead screwdriver to remove the flathead screw bar and park in your new SteelConnect. Once it is placed accordingly, screw it back and that’s all! What makes it better, the 22mm gap of the SteelConnect watch lug allows you to replace your desired strap or band anytime at your call.
The video shows how it can be easily assembled. Its a bit clumsy i knew!
The design of SteelConnect is exquisite and precise. You won’t have to worry about having to force it in or accidentally scratching your Pebble Steel, however you are advise to be gentle! It does the job perfectly with the 0.05mm gap. The hole fits the screw accurately and all you have to do is to align the screw with the hole before entering the screw pin.
Where we are at?
We have gone all out with every single resources we have into designing SteelConnect and developing the prototype. We started off with materializing the prototype we have in mind into 3D rapid prototyping and finally the CNC Machining. We are now at the stage of final prototype and we are ready to go. Your supports would help us to kickstart the manufacturing and attaining the distribution.

You won’t have to pay each time you intend to replace your Pebble Steel with a new strap cause we’ve cracked the code of “getting a new strap” for all the Pebble Steel owners and supporters, as it is now available to share your strap between pebbles. We ensure that the material of SteelConnect comes with the best quality and the most stunning design. Most importantly, we have sourced for the most qualified manufacturer who is as perfectionist as we are. We promise to bring you the distinctive SteelConnect at an affordable price which would put a smile on everyone’s faces. After all, we have only one mission and the mission is to create the affordable yet beautiful product that could complement everything that comes around it.
Rewards
All rewards come in a pair, with a 22mm spring bar intact. Please make your pledge as early as possible! The Limited pledge doesn't wait! We will start the production the minute the target goal is surpassed!

Risques et défis
The risk in this project is minimal. We have our full concentration and effort in this project - from scratching out the ideas, 3D prototyping to CNC. We have nailed the deal with our supplier in providing CNC service, surface preparation, anodizing, PVD coating as well as shipping. The suppliers will begin the production once we’ve surpassed the goal!
Kickstarter is a wonderful place for ideas creation and dream fulfilling. It gives people like us a chance to share our ideas and materialize them into the marketplace for people we love and for those who love our ideas.
