Risks and challenges
We have worked tirelessly to build a website that is heavily content-driven, which could, in turn, be confused as a much bigger business than what we actually are. Quality, is what we stand for. With an increase in interest, we could face risks and challenges if business exceeds our capacity.
With corporate food delivery and catering being offered as one of our top two services, this requires us to have larger coolers and even, at times, a commercial delivery truck to deliver the items at the proper temperatures. Without meeting our funding goals it will be difficult to offer these services in the way that we envisioned.
Two other challenges are that we aren't a big business & don't intent to be one without our values carrying through. At this moment, our events are smaller-scale to enhance the relationship with our users, to interact with them, to educate them, and to build a relationship with them beyond their interest in our food. We want quality, not quantity and this could be a risk we may face when utilizing the products that we do. Ordering smaller amounts means higher prices at times. We want to attract those who are willing to support small farmers, pay the price for local and organic food, and those who want a relationship with us, as much as we do with them.
Since our business is heavily collaboration-driven, we may face struggles with businesses that ultimately do not share our values or beliefs.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
