For the past few years we’ve been building a trike that brings the fullest experience of mountainbiking to the snow. Designed to be easy to ride and engineered to withstand extreme usage, it’s our mission to bring this thing to mountainbikers across slopes around the world.
All our key decisions are based on creating the perfect downhill ride on the snow. It’s easy enough to use for newbies, and it’s ready for stunts - built to cater for the mountain bikers chasing adrenaline rush...
Feels like a bike - Easier to use if you’re coming from a biking background than snowboarding or skiing. For us this was an awesome way to experience the slopes in a way that we felt comfortable. With the help of the parallelogram system, our trike provides stability and control to users of any mountain biking skill level.
Engineered to match the speed of downhill bikes, and the agility of BMX bikes, you can go as extreme as your thirst for adrenaline desires. Awesome for stunts too.
We’re perfectionists with our gear. Testing out different variations of materials and parts have given us the perfect ingredients for our snowtrike.
Before we made our trikes available to the Kickstarter community they were subject to field testing and high tech tests. By doing this we can say with comfort, that our frames are built to last.
Our trike was designed with safety in mind. it can be used with any kind of ski lift. There’s a safety leash so your ride is safe for you and other slope users.
As mountain bikers we were looking for a suitable alternative to riding a bike in the winter. After exploring the bikes that were available we were not satisfied with what they offer, so we decided to build our own and design it in a way that it would best mimic the geometry and riding style of a bike.To do this we designed the following features.
All our frames are made from high grade aluminium. Each one is hand welded and complies to the highest safety and quality standards.

Our trikes have been developed together with some of the best riders from our region. With their help we made a product that has a quick learning curve for beginners and is also able to withstand big jumps and tricks.
It all started in 2011 when our founder Matic, a passionate mountain biker and an all around extreme sports enthusiast had the idea of bringing mountain biking to the snow. It was the year that the first Hillstrike Snowtrike "prototype" was created.
In the following years Matic brought together a group of friends with the same passion for the sport and with different expertees. Together we made a new prototype each year. What started as something we did for fun has turned into a serious project in 2015 when the company Hillstrike d.o.o. was founded.
We now hope to share our passion with the world through Kickstarter and start a new sporting revolution, creating not just a product, but a community too.

By backing our project you support the Hillstrike revolution. Together with your help we will once again change the winter sport industry just like snowboarding changed it in the 90s.
The funds raised will be used for:
We want to make this readily available to anyone who shares our passion. We came to kickstarter as projects with a community at its core work much better here than using traditional sales, plus we need to verify there are enough interested people out there before we commit to our manufacturers - we need an order of at least 36 trikes to start our first bigger batch before breaking even. We’ll be showing it off at test events all over europe this winter. Come try it out!

Risks and challenges
Over the past year we have built a solid relationship with our manufacturers and suppliers to minimize the odds of something going wrong. Our trikes have been tested numerous times and are ready to be shipped to our backers.
The biggest risk is that we don't get all the parts on time which could potentially result in a delay of shipping. If this happens we have a reliable team which will work out the problems.
We will keep you updated with all the latest news all through the production process and if we encounter any problems you will be the first to know.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
