If you don’t love cats, you can stop reading now.
If you don’t find yourself needing a wall calendar to know when the Jewish holidays are, or what the weekly Torah portion is — we get it, you’re fully digital.
And if you don’t love studying Talmud, Torah, or other Jewish texts — well, you don’t know what you’re missing.
But if you’re still with us, have we got a calendar for you.
Yes, it's the Torah Cats Jewish Calendar 5779 (2018-2019), featuring gorgeous felines in studious repose with some of the treasured classic texts of the Jewish people — along with the secular and Hebrew dates, Jewish and American holidays, and the weekly Torah portions.
This campaign is a short one, since we want to get the calendars to you as soon as possible. We're aiming for Rosh Hashanah but it could be closer to Sukkot.
Because it's a short campaign, we need extra help from our fellow fans of cats who love Torah. Please spread the word!
Risks and challenges
This is the third Kickstarter for Ben Yehuda Press. The hard work of typesetting the calendar portion is completed — the calendar grid, the Hebrew dates, the holidays. All we have to do is add the photos of the studious cats. That said, we may not be able to get the calendars into your hands by Rosh Hashanah.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
