By God, Actual Progress Is Being Made

And by "actual progress" I mean:

Copy Edits!
Copy Edits!

Yep, I've finished the revisions and have turned all three books over to the copy editor. I expect that process to take several weeks, which is cool by me because I have other books to work on.

For one, it's past time I started my complete rewrite of A Key, An Egg, An Unfortunate Remark, which is one of the stretch goals I promised you guys.

For another, the ebook short fiction collection (including the Twenty Palaces short story "The Home Made Mask) is nearly finished. I should receive the cover art by mid-month and then I can release it to all of you before the end of June

This also means the trilogy will be late. I'd hoped to make the June deadline, but the revisions I needed to make were too extensive. Sorry, you guys. If I'd tried to deliver the books on time, they would have sucked.

That means:

  • short fiction collection later in June
  • trilogy after that, probably mid-July or later
  • Key/Egg after that
  • Fate Game supplements after all the fiction has been released.

That's it for this month. Talk to you again soon.

I'd much rather wait & read something I enjoy, than get it on a strict deadline & suffer buyer's regret! :) Well done for being this close to the deadline!

Couldn't agree more with Gregory. Take the time you need to make a piece of work that you are proud of. =)

Things are done when they're done, I'm certain everyone understands. So looking forward to getting my hands on these which means that hopefully July will be a great month.

Better late and great rather than on time and slime. :)
