In February of 2015, I wrote an essay titled D&C 132, a revelation of men, not God. I criticized and questioned a section of scripture that has been the topic of controversy for years. I learned quickly that their was a community of concerned people across the spectrum of Mormonism. From ex-Mormons to bishoprics, individuals reached out to me and expressed their own opinions and concerns. I realized then, that the Mormon world was full of historical curiosity, significant current events, and candid opinions. I realized that Mormon news wasn't just found on LDS.org, but on the passion fueled blogs and the editorials of the Utah papers. Research and courageous opinions are being penned and broadcasted like never before. I realized that the Mormon world is changing drastically, and there needs to be a medium to help facilitate the important information being exchanged across the Mormon universe.
Mormonverse.com aims to be the next step in Mormon news and opinion. It will bring honest Daily news and blogs to faithful Latter-day Saints and questioning Saints alike. But to better serve Mormondom, Mormonverse needs a face-lift and a some improvements.

Risks and challenges
There are always risks to any endeavor. What this requires is an eye for a good story and time to make this project happen. I am a emergency room nurse and I know it means to work hard. I will work to maintain Mormonverse.com for years to come. Being a nurse also allows me to have 4 days a week free. I will be able to monitor the blogs and news sites, and compose my own thoughts on a regular basis.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
