Optimism can seem like an elusive, intangible concept that is challenging to apply in our day-to-day lives. The Optimist’s Manifesto is a guide book for practical optimism, the ability to see the possibility of the most favorable outcomes, and act in a way that moves toward the most favorable outcome becoming a reality. Divided into categories of Self, Relationships, Work, Community, and World View, this book provides tips and tools to be more optimistic in all aspects of life.
My lifetime goal has been to build a world of optimism, and I wrote this book in order to share my practical insights on the optimist's way to live in the real world.
Writing a book is no easy feat (at least it wasn't for me)... 20 years of dreaming about writing this book, and 4 years of actually writing it. And I am learning that editing, designing, publishing, and launching a book is just as time consuming and challenging as the actual writing. Not to mention expensive!
By supporting my Kickstarter you are not only supporting me (and my creation) but you are also helping my mission of building a world of optimism. The funds from the Kickstarter are going to publishing and design costs, publicity and book launch expenses, and spreading the message of optimism through distribution of this book and the development and distribution of other tools that build a world of optimism.
Please join me in building a world of optimism! Optimism is my superpower, and I hope you will make it yours too!

In bringing this book to fruition, we have gone through all of the steps with the exception of final publishing. The book has been edited, designed, prepped for print, proofed (both online and in a physical print copy), and a marketing plan developed. A publishing partner has been selected, and everything is ready for the final GO once we reach our funding.
We are giddy with excitement to share the book with the world!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
