Replicant is a series of stories based around the main character 'RAZ'. Rendered in real time on your chosen digital platform. You will be immersed in a compelling film like scenario.
The studio decided to move into active comics from the role as full game developers. The studio was looking to get great comic content to a new audience in a reduced development cycle. Storylines are produced in-house, and with guest copywriters.
Active elements are presented on a pause screen.
This will include main character bios, just touch the character. Main objects such as computers,vehicles and buildings also have further sub-story information when touched.
£5000 : Teaser episode of Fantasy Active Comic Season 1.
£10000 : Alternate Ending for Replicant Season 1.
The funds are primarily for the funding of copywriters, to help grow the storyline.I will be working on coding aspects, animation implementation, sfx and directing.
The project uses a mix of in-house tools, Unity development platform and third party tools and controllers.
The project utilizes Superscript, developed by Justin Silva. The comic development cycle will include coding for the automatic realization of the script into the director control panel. https://superscript.app/
Graphic content are produced by Synty graphic development studios.
Synty Studios is an expert in the games industry, with multiple talented artists from the interactive entertainment and film industries, we have contributed to multiple triple A productions and provide the highest quality assets.
Animations are produced using motion capture provided by Mixamo studios.

Mixamo's technologies use machine learning methods to automate the steps of the character animation process, including 3D modeling to rigging and 3D animation.
Risks and challenges
The project technology is currently running inside Unity. Cross platform development is handled by Unity and allows optimized versions for each of the platforms. The project will have a small footprint less than 1MB, so friendly on mobile devices.
Final product approval from platform holders usually take around 1-2 weeks. So this is scheduled in the development timetable.
