About this project
Who am I ?
Awarded the prestigious Kairos Prize for developing ecodesign, Katell is a pioneer ecodesigner and a living example of a modern nomad, made possible with new technologies. Through workshops and lectures, she is a catalyst for social change wherever she goes. In 2012, Katell was awarded the prestigious Kairos Prize, one of the most prominent cultural awards, as special contribution to European Culture, bringing her into the spotlight, rewarding her commitment and zest for life, as well as her exuberant spirit.
What ? This e-book is about seeing beauty in waste, experimenting with global nomadism, thriving for greater awareness via meditation, maintaining courage, passion and uncompromising determination. When you finish reading the book , you will see the world differently. It will change the way you see trash , and the way you can change the world You will see trash as the “gold of tomorrow” and you will be inspired to change many of your small habits to make your life more “conscious.”. Bringing awareness though playful meditation, go vegetarian, re-use your waste , give things a second life. Maybe you will be inspired to become modern nomad, and not be materially attached to things; to live simply only that which is essential. Through the book, you will travel so many countries that maybe you will be curious to discover for yourself another humanity; where it seems as if there is “depravation” but there is “so much”. Maybe you will understand that by changing oneself, by being a living example, one can change the world.
I looked around my house to see the consumption rate of my family and it was shocking to see how much plastic we use on a daily basis. I was stunned to see how much plastic is there in our houses. For example, I found a lot of plastic packaging for all the food , drinks, and other stuff we bought. I had a talk with my family and explained how much damage is being done by over usage, over shopping and too much of plastic consumption. We all decided to seriously cut down on using plastic. Now i help my mom recycle and reuse as much as we can. I think this project had a positive impact on my family and we became more environment friendly people.

Stretch funding goal
I'd love it if we could go over the 7.000 euros minimum goal. If you guys can help me get to a higher funding figure, this will allow me to:
•Pay a literary agent to find a publisher and have my book published as a hard copy
•Build a photo gallery , to accompany the book with all my creations
•Make tutorials on how to create my ecodesign articles
•Show the world that Trash Is really the Gold of Tomorrow
So don't stop helping this project if we hit the minimum!
Risks and challenges
The book is already written and informal collaboration with the professional proof reader has started.all is flowing very well, she understand my voice and is the most qualified person to even uplift my vision and bring it to the world.
Really all it needs is to be in fluent , flowing English to be published. If I were a native English speaker and a writer, I wouldn’t need this professional help, but I am a self taught ecodesigner, who wrote a book with her heart.
The rewards are my stock of ecodesign articles, already made.
There is no risk and the only challenge is be funded by this wonderful community
