• Development Progress •

We’ve been testing rigorously - we know you’re eager to receive SolarGaps blinds, and we want to be sure each set we ship is of the highest quality. Did you know that we offer a 5 year warranty on SolarGaps blinds? That’s 2.5x longer than the industry standard! That means we’re truly confident that SolarGaps is built to last. • Now, you can control several sets of the SolarGaps blinds from your smartphone screen thanks to the improvements we made in the electronic management device (EMD) that enables the "track-the-sun" feature • Our developers have updated the design of the mobile application in Google Play Market (feel free to check it out), and are currently working on changing the design and functionality of our app in AppStore.

• Starting to Ship •

This month, we’ll be shipping our Single Slat Rewards to backers in the USA and Canada. These backers will be able to charge their cell phone or battery bank directly from SolarGaps! Remember, we want your feedback! Tell us how we’re doing by reaching us at

• Big Wins •

SolarGaps has had several big accomplishments this month - hooray! We have been selected for support from Horizon 2020, a highly competitive European Commission’s program focused on innovative companies. We won Top 3 at Silicon Valley Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum (SVIEF), won Top 15 Startups of 2017 from Consumer Electronics Association’s Startup of the Year contest, and we’re competing later this month at UPS-X Challenge in Los Angeles. Wish us luck!

Last month, we have successfully completed the highly competitive HAX Growth program in San Francisco in frames of which we started cooperation with the leading US retailers.

Stay on the sunny side,

The SolarGaps Team
