NEW REWARDS!!! We've added two great new 'Early Backer' Limited Rewards...
UPDATE!!! We will be releasing on PC, XBOX, Mac, IOS, Linux, Android, Ouya, Wii U, PS3, PS Vita. See our FAQ for expected release dates.
Organic Panic has been five years in the making! Brothers Damon and Anatole Branch have been working independently on the game from home for half a decade. Their incredible dream of a ultimate physics puzzle game is finally nearing fruition. Build and share you own crazy physics levels!
Fruit & Veg battle Meat & Cheese in a quirky physics puzzler where you can build and share your own levels!
- Destructible levels with fully interactive fluids.
- A physics puzzle adventure with hundreds of brain-teasing levels.
- Loads of fun game modes, including Co-op and Versus.
- All of the levels were built using the in-game editor.
- The Game Menu serves as a giant sticker book for both adventure and user levels.
- A twisted comic book guides the single player game through the wild worlds of Organic Panic.
All of the levels we've built were made from scratch using the in-game editor. We will be giving you the in-game editor with the PC version of the game so you can build and share your own levels. We want to build a community of creative level builders so there are new levels to play every single day.
In addition we want to keep updating the game with new materials, new objects, and new enemies - so level building stays fresh!
We'll add a rule set check-box where you decide the type of level it is, such as coop, versus, timed, last one standing, destroy everything, and whatever we can dream up together.
In-Game Editor - We need to polish, refine, and test the in-game editor to share levels on a remote server system. We will be looking to our fans to help us with the testing phase as we aim to make the level building tools simple, useable, and powerful.
Port - We need to port the game onto PC, preferably on Steam with your support! Check out the stretch goals to see all the platforms we're hoping to come out on.
Backgrounds - There are currently 4 backgrounds and we need to design and implement 8 more to take you through the many worlds of Organic Panic.
Comic - The story is written and we've started drawing out the panels, but there's still lots more to do. We have roughed out the comic, but in total there are 100 stills which need to be cleanly drawn and colored.
Art Polish - We want to polish the in-game graphics including refining textures, polished explosions and visual effects, and sharpening up the UI. We want everything to shine and excite!
Boss Characters - We want to model and add in boss levels for the game including Baby Cheeses craft for the final level!
Audio - We want to work with sound designers and musicians and have a unique track for every background plus a bunch of other tunes throughout the UI.
Levels - We need to thoroughly play test the levels we've built. If we hit our stretch goal, we'll also build a full set of Co-op and Versus levels too

$40k - PC, XBOX 360, Mac, IOS, Linux, Android, Ouya, Wii U, PS3, PS VITA downloadable version of game, together with In-Game Editor in first PC release. Together with at least 100 user-created levels. We're already testing the co-op mode so we plan to include a whole bunch of these levels too. (see FAQS for expected launch dates per platform)
$60K - A Bigger, Better Game! We'll add 7 extra boss characters, 10 new interactive materials, 5 new objects, 200 or more user-created levels and local Co-op and Versus game modes with 100+ levels.
Organic Panic pitches a quirky band of fruit and veg against a legion of heavily armed meat and cheese. An old dotty apple will guide his organic friends on a magical quest, while a twisted billionaire baby cheese will stop at nothing to destroy every last one of them.
With real-world physics interactions, there's many ways to complete the levels. How will you use the physics mechanics together with the characters to complete them?
If all this is making you hungry, here's some cooking tips...
We've documented much of our journey creating Organic Panic over the last five years! Please check out our Blog and see how the game slowly changed over the years.
We presented the game at the NYC Games Forum Meetup in March where we won game of the month! Check out our Facebook page for all the latest updates.
Risks and challenges
Making any game with fully interactive fluids and totally destructible worlds is a giant challenge. The biggest risk was the complexity of the physics system and the consequential development was enormous, so thankfully, the biggest challenge has been resolved as everything interacts and works.
What's left to do, however, is still a solid challenge. We need to build out and refine the game with more art and audio development. In addition we will port the game onto the PC and we need to make sure the editor is fully useable so that players can build levels easily. Right now there are more direct challenges than risks and the team is super psyched to finish this game. Once completed we will be supporting our community of creative level builders, which will be an ongoing process.
We've worked on Organic Panic for 5 years now, and we've overcome many challenges and hurdles; the finish line is in sight. We know there will be more challenges to come but we are confident and fully prepared to meet them and bring Organic Panic to completion.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
Minimum will be about 1 GHtz Processor, 1 Gig Ram, and most graphics cards made in the last 5 years.
Recommended will more like 1.6 GHtz Dual Core, 2 Gig Ram, and most graphics cards made in the last 3 years.
The $12 'limited offer' pledge, or any pledge above that gets you the editor and user created levels.
Yes, any pledge at $10 or above will get you the game on your choice of platform.
Thanks for everyone's amazing feedback. We started our campaign with less than 150 Facebook likes and over half of them were our friends. So basically almost no one knows about the game and we've got a lot of reaching out to do in the next 3 weeks to really just get eyes on it.
Once people see what it's all about the feedback has been 99% super positive so we're excited about gamers reactions so if you feel the same then you can ask your friends to check out the page and become a backer.
The 'limited offer' rewards are designed to give early backers a better deal.
The difference is that while you also get every 'non-limited offer' below that they do not 'stack' like the basic offers.
So if you pledge the $45 T-Shirt, you get the $2, $10, $20 & $45 rewards as well but you don't get the $35 'limited offer' as well. (You don't get the $12 limited offer but in that case it doesn't matter because you get the $20 reward which has a lot more anyway).
if you pledge the $35 T-Shirt reward you get the $2, $10, $20 & $35 rewards.
If you are not sure then you can look at the pictures in the Rewards section to see drawings of exactly what you get for each pledge.
PC & Xbox release date is estimated to arrive in October
Mac, IOS, Linux, Android, Ouya, Wii U, PS3 & PS Vita versions are slated to arrive between January 2014 and Summer 2014. We need to pay another programmer to help with the port so the more we raise, the earlier we can start the port.
