Our goal is to open up a community oriented specialty coffee shop with a nanobrewery in Canton, Massachusetts. We intend to create a space and experience around specialty coffee and craft beer, with priority given to creative endeavor and community contribution. We have selected the perfect location; we have the skills, and passion to do this. We still need to raise the funds for equipment, licenses, and renovation. Building relationships is very important to us. We have realized that there are two things that bring people together and that's coffee and beer! Our dream is that through the medium of these two beverages, Church St. Brewing Co. will provide a comfortable environment where we encourage connections with great coffee, great beer, and great memories! With great local food items from bakeries, food trucks, and other local eateries, Church St. Brewing Co. is our dream place for people to meet up or hang out any time of day. Here is some information on our vision, and how you can become a part of our project.
Our First Love:
Coffee At Church St. Brewing Co. we will be serving our handcrafted Cold Brew and Nitro on tap, specialty beans for Espresso and drip coffee. Our partners, Blue Fire Coffee Roasters have direct relationships with the best coffee brokers from around the world. “All the coffee sourced for Blue Fire Coffee Roasters is the top 3% graded Arabicas available in the marketplace, and qualifies as true "specialty grade."”
Why a nanobrewery?
A nanobrewery is smaller than a microbrewery. Our nanobrewery will be brewing on a 2 barrel system. We will brew enough beer to keep glasses full in our Tap House, fill growlers for members of our mug club, and fill kegs for events or special gatherings. We will focus on creative brews that you can enjoy in our beautiful space, rather than focusing on distribution to bars and package stores.
We want to keep the beer-drinking public happy! If our customers would like to see a particular style or recipe on our menu we will brew it; this includes such offerings as gluten free beer, paleo beer, ciders from fresh local fruit, etc. For you non-beer drinkers, we'll have wine available as well.
Risks and challenges
Our biggest risk and challenges at this time will be obtaining the proper licensing for brewing. We understand this is a lengthy process but we are in it, to win it! Other challenges we may face with our project may include; timely completion of construction, timely delivery of all equipment, pass all relevant inspections, and complete all alcohol permit applications.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
