We're back with Kay and P Volume 4! Compiling issues 16-20, we're following Kay and her skele-bestie P through a whole new class of dangerous amortal beasts and adventures! Things really heat up in this volume - and Kay gets some questions answered - but she may not like it!
Thanks to backers like you, Kay and P has been afforded the opportunity to get this far and go to print! Seeing as all the artwork and contents are completed, all it takes for you to get your hands on a copy is to reserve one.
About Kay and P
Kay and P is a modern-fantasy comic taking place in and around Boston, Massachusetts. It stars Kay, a college-aged kid with a passion for the arts - and her mysterious skeleton friend Peaches (or just "P" for short). While it seemed growing up that no one else could see P, Kay's eyes have been opened up to a whole new world of myths and monsters. Now she just has to try and juggle them and her schoolwork, job and family!
The comic started in 2009 as a webcomic, and updates twice weekly to produce new content. Kay and P has had several successful Kickstarters in it's past to print physical editions of the book for backers and convention sales!
The Kickstarter Rewards
I'm Outside the Shipping Zone!
Did you know shipping internationally is crazy expensive? If you're outside the US or Canada, I would highly recommend you go for a PDF tier - but if you really want a physical copy of the book please send me a PM and I'll find the exact price of shipping for you earmark you a copy of the book and then and I can mail it to you.
Where does it all go?
Pretty pie charts, yay!
All the money goes to making books, shipping books and making swag. (Plus I need to pay the Kickstarter piper, as it goes!)
We've hit goal with almost two weeks left, so I figured a simple stretch-goal might be fun! If we can hit $2200, then I'll include a set of Kay and P themed postcards to everyone who purchased a physical copy of the book - and if you ordered any other tier and want a set of postcards, you can add them on for $5 to cover shipping and such!
Risks and challenges
Last time we went to print we experienced some hiccups with the printing process - this time I've secured a more stable and reliable printer and negotiated the costs to have a better understanding of what kind of funds I'm going to need.
Other than that, the artwork is completely done already, so you won't have to wait years and years to see your book!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
