Hello potential Kickstarter backers of my project! My name is Bob Ferguson II (see my bio), and I have been doing this calendar project for three years with each year, selling more than I did the year before. I've only promoted it through my Facebook family in the past and figured I'd up the ante and offer more via Kickstarter.
What you get: I am offering nine different calendar choices with photos that I personally have taken in the field. I'm not the best, but I'm pretty good. :) Please make sure to see my video to look at past calendars and see if you are happy with the way they look.
I've also added a lot of other printed material after receiving multiple requests this past year. I have ordered some samples which will also be shown in the video so PLEASE check it out. I know it can be iffy buying prints and you want to make sure the quality is up to par. So I went out on a limb and bought some sample products to show you exactly what you are going to be getting.
EDIT: I will either contact you as soon as you order if I am friends with you on Facebook, or after the campaign is over to see which calendars and prints you would like. Just go ahead and pledge. There's no where to make a choice now because of all the options I'm offering.
CALENDAR CHOICES FOR 2016:
1. Snakes of the New Jersey Pine Barrens
2. Snakes of the Pocono Mountains
3. Turtles of the Northeast
4. Frogs of the Northeast
5. Salamanders of the Northeast
6. The Northeast at Night (animals in the dark)
7. Raptors of the East (owls included)
8. Songbirds of the East (random assortment of color)
9. Warblers of the East
*I'm going to add some of my favorites here to choose from, but if you are interested in a particular animal PLEASE email me (email@example.com) and ask for what I have and I will send you sample photos to choose from. Honestly, I have thousands of photos. Hit me up. Or you can search my flickr page:
Risks and challenges
Risks: The only risks I see with the project is that the printers wouldn't deliver on time. That said, I'm ending orders weeks before Christmas to give ample time to have everything manufactured and shipped. I've done this for three years now and have delivered everything on time myself, even last year when I had my hip replaced on December 16th. I trust both of my printers to deliver in a timely fashion.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
