The next exhibit from Design Museum Boston & students at Wentworth

Hi Backers! Sam here from Design Museum Boston,

I hope everyone is doing well! Big news about the Retail project: it earned two Notable awards from Core77! Thanks again for your help making the exhibition possible!

I wanted to forward a message from one of the students taking part in our second exhibition class at Wentworth:

Hi everyone! My Name is Benjamin Lenart and I am currently a student at Wentworth Institute of Technology working in collaboration with Design Museum Boston to create their next student-led exhibition: Life Impacted: International Design Excellence Awards

I am reaching out to you, the great people who supported the Retail exhibition last year and made everything possible for last year’s class! Like the students in last year’s class, my classmates and I are conceiving, developing, and fabricating an interactive exhibition with Design Museum Boston, and we need your help to make it a reality.

We’re getting closer to our funding goal on Kickstarter, but we’re not there yet — I’m asking for your help to once again pledge and make this project with Design Museum Boston a success.

Click here to make a pledge.

Thank you!

- Ben

Backers! I'm pleased to report Retail: Retell. Recycle. Rethink. was an amazing success, viewed by thousands at Prudential Center. Thank you all once again for your support, Retail couldn't have happened without your pledges. You'll be happy to know Retail will live on, it will be popping-up in a new location very soon.

It's reward time! We'll be sending out bags, t-shirts, and water bottles to folks who weren't able to pick there's up at the opening reception, so stay tuned.

In the meantime check out the semester recap video filmed and produced by one of our talented students, Nick Dunleavy, and check out the gallery on our site for photos from the opening reception.

One last thing: we've launched another Kickstarter campaign for another Design Museum Boston program called: Designing A Difference. We're working with two Boston nonprofits to design a solar-powered computer lab for Kwala, Tanzania and bring sustainable energy to the developing world. Take a look and I hope you'll consider backing another great project.

Thanks again!
