By 2020 it is expected that 26 billion devices will be part of the Internet of Things (IoT), creating the biggest interconnection of networks of uniquely identifiable embedded smart devices within the existing Internet infrastructure.
IoT is a complex of many technologies that work together to create a complete application with a significant technological background. The actual providers of IoT technologies have very high costs and many cloud services are extra.
We provide to our users a reference platform to support the IoT technologies that are oriented to the educational or generally to the makers. We want everyone to have access to the world of IoT, and that everyone has the ability to create their IoT application without being an expert by providing them with simple and intuitive tools. Our solution: Fluo WiFi.
WHAT IS FLUO WIFI?
FluoWiFi is all you need to create your own IoT solution. It is a microcontroller board based on the ATmega644p by Atmel (Microchip) and the ESP32 module by Espressif.
The ESP32 is a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth low power combo chip. It provides the right powerful Cloud backend thanks to support to IPv4 and IPv6, Secure HTTP, Coap, REST and MQTT protocols ready to go.
The ATmega644p is a powerful 8-bit AVR microcontroller. It is fully Arduino™ fully compatible, making it the ideal solution for makers and creators that can’t wait to make the Internet of Things a reality. It is easy to program thanks to Fluo software exclusives such as FluoTube for access to the IoT and FluoOTA (Over The Air) in order to upgrade the program without wires, connected to its surroundings through numerous sensors, actuators and Arduino compatible shields.

More can be expected from the FluoTube, an innovative new system that will allow the user to access the Cloud and more, with simple and intuitive methods.
It provides access to the Internet world through two ways:
beginner, the nomenclature of the API will always be the following:
developer, through the slightly lower level API will be able to add functionality to FluoTube to access Cloud not yet supported or generally to Internet services.
The user can program the board through Arduino IDE and load the new sketch wirelessly thanks to FluoOTA.
With this technology, the user, once they have configured the WiFi connection, will charge their IoT application via wireless technology.
The firmware update for ESP32 side that handles connectivity works with the same mechanism.
It is based on microcontrollers, but it features a dual-core chip (160 MHz + 160 MHz) Bluetooth combo LE and WiFi (150 Mbps bandwidth max), which runs the entire software stack that allows the use of sophisticated networking protocols such as IPv6 and Secure HTTP but also encrypts data through a hardware accelerators for AES and SSL / TLS to ensure maximum safety for your IoT applications.

The most important mission for us is certainly to give all people the opportunity to access the world of technology not only as buyers, but as protagonists. All development in both software and hardware that we will do in the future will focus on this.
We provide our users with the possibility to develop their own code using Arduino IDE with the addition of FluoTube which will simplify access to new technologies such as: Cloud Access, IoT, access to smart devices.
But a lot of resources will be spent to provide ever more simple and effective tools leveraging university areas and research laboratories.

The Fluo WiFi is your Bluetooth gateway to the Internet of Things. It allows you to communicate with your projects both over the Cloud and with your phone, enabling a wide range of cool interactions.
The power of this boards is the connectivity features. left side you can see the Cloud throw to WiFi connectivity instead to the right side you can see Bluetooth low energy connectivity like as smartwatch, headphone, lamp and anything object that used BLE interface with GATT interface and finally the connection with Things so any electronic device in red.

FLUO ADD-ON FOR ARDUINO IDE
With Arduino v1.6.4+, a new boards manager feature makes it easy to add third-party boards like the SparkFun Redboard, Digital Sandbox, and Fluo Boards, to the IDE.
Arduino IDE + Fluo add-on is simply a classic Arduino IDE plus support for Fluo Technology Boards and Fluo exclusive library, that allows to program Fluo WiFi throw to OTA upgrade (or in the old friendly way using USB cable).
The common use of the Fluo WiFi is to program the Atmel 644p and use the FluoTube for access to ESP32, but we provide the possibility to program and upgrade the ESP32 with the IDE too.
The choice to use in our board on an AVR 8-bit comes from the need for many users to use all the existing know-how and all the Arduino shield compatible with Arduino. Fluo WiFi allows you to take full advantage of all this.
In recent years thousands of examples have been collected and libraries given by different communities. We want to take advantage of all this giving new emphasis and allowing users to have a serious landmark that does not follow the market dynamics but follows the needs of people who choose to use our technologies.
Every code that has been written to support the Arduino ecosystem will be compatible with our technology but where the focus will be shifted towards of the IoT to achieve a smarter and freer world.
