What's Zelza Zero & Friends About?
Simply put, Zelza Zero & Friends is a Children’s Aspirational & Educational Lifestyle Brand, complete with a television animated series and publishing. Zelza Zero brings imagination, self worth and team building to children ages 2 to 7 years. Zelza Zero & Friends also helps parents interact with their children, and teaches kids in this age group basic and elementary math, through innovative story telling, in an imaginative and fun atmosphere. Parents, Grandparents, aunts, uncles and everyone in between will enjoy watching the animated TV series with children in this age group. With the above objectives in mind, we need everyone at Kickstarter to help us KICKSTART the production of the pilot episode of The Adventures Of Zelza Zero And Friends, by pledging at any comfortable level.
Introduction to Zelza Zero & Friends
Zelza is a little zero who lives in Numeric City and attends Digits Elementary School with other numbers. As the only zero in her class, she is saddened by her friends calling her "worthless", a word she does not even understand. In the pilot episode, Zelza finds out what the word means, and her friends find out the true worth of a zero.
Each of her little number friends has a face and a personality with kid like emotions. Zelza Zero and her friends appeal to children no matter what nationality they are. There will be plenty of fun and memorable moments for children to experience with Zelza and her friends; for example, learning about the zoo and endangered animals. Through their interactions, Zelza and her friends get to experience the wonders of life. In another episode, Sid Seven parties too hard and discovers that too much of a good thing can sometimes lead to a bad thing.
Zelza Zero also teaches kids a fun way to add and subtract on a basic level through her interactions with her friends. Every episode will have what we call a “Math Moment”, which is when one of the characters performs a mathematical function, by adding or subtracting little friends to find answers.
With The Adventures of Zelza Zero & Friends, the goal is to make every child, no matter how different they are, feel special and wanted.
Our goal is to produce the pilot for this exciting, educational and entertaining animated series, with the support of our audience, in order to keep creative control and preserve the sentiment and originality of the show. Kindly pledge as much as you can, and become a part of this very special and unique project. As we move along with this show, we will always welcome and encourage our audience to submit ideas, and have some input in the lives of the characters.
It Takes A Village
Your support enables us to get this pilot episode made, so that we can use the animated TV series to expose basic and elementary math to children all over the world through various international broadcast companies. We are also in talks with a foundation that delivers free laptops to children in poor and developing countries, to preload Zelza Zero & Friends content onto these laptops, and thus expose them to math in a fun and entertaining way. The general Zelza Zero & Friends theme of Team Spirit, Team Building, Self Value and Embracing Diversity will also carry through into these various cultures.

Risks and challenges
One of the main challenge is keeping the stories fun, different and entertaining, as well as having an element of education in them. We have a great team of writers, from all walks of life, male and female. They have experience in the entertainment industry, having worked on past successful projects. We also have the support and input of teachers, who will make sure that our “Math Moments” pass muster.
As for the rewards, we will strive very hard to keep to the delivery date listed under each reward. Barring a natural disaster, or production delays out of our hands, we will make sure that they are delivered on time. We will have a person dedicated to making sure all our backers get what they were promised.
Lastly, we will always strive to update our Kickstarter account with information on the progress of this project in a timely manner.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
