Hi There.

For those of you who have received Saxmonicas , you have made our lives easy.

For those of you still waiting, we are pushing hard,  The freight dosn't seem to be consistent , as I have responses from most countries now to say they have arrived and yet we are getting messages from several countries to say they havn't.

A little bit could be to do with Xmas orders slowing down the deliveries.

Just a quick note on getting your first tones out of the Saxmonica.

Understand that this is primarily a breathing exercise.  As you develop your breathing you will find an amazing change in your Saxmonica blowing ability.

In fact your breathing  has to improve to make great sounds out of the Saxmonica. This will  happen naturally.

I know a few of you have put the Saxmonica together , blown it and been disappointed

that you cant make it sound like I do.

Ive been blowing it for quite a while now and if you watch any of our videos you will see that Im blowing pretty hard to make it do what I want it to do.

A quick tip.

Start In the low notes ,   Get the tone but before you move your fingers up the scales,

get a full breath when you are on hole 3 before moving up the scales.

These higher notes are a lot harder to make so if you start with a full lungs at three then you are more likely to be able to hold the notes as you go up the scale.

This is all in the video tutorials.

If all else fails watch the instructions.

Thanks

Nick

I live in Reno Nv, have not seen my saximonica yet. Any idea when it might show up?

Still nothing arrived in Wales. UK. This was supposed to be an 18th Birthday present for my son (18th November). He's a keen clarinetist (Grade 8) and saxoponist. When we backed this we thought we'd get it in plenty of time. Now worried it won't be here for Christmas... Will it?

Hi Nick, I'm sorry to say but it is not that we have made your life hard. Saxmonica took a long time to deliver and in the meanwhile I had to change my address to another country. Unfortunately, Kickstarter system cannot handle this well and, although I could change my city and street, I could not update my country, so I got something absurd like "Amsterdam, Italy". This is not out fault, but Kickstarter's fault. Besides that, if you could give my order some special attention it would be nice because I have just been noticed I will soon move again and change country, so if you post my order soon enough it would make both our lifes easier.

Hi, i'm in France and received the SM today, great material, really soft.

Will try and practice alone in my house because first sounds are not what i would call ... music, lol

Looking forward to getting mine - I'm in Australia and have not seen any sign of an arrival or a tracking number yet.

Received mine in Denmark today.. Didn’t get any sort of tracking until a few hours after PostNord had dropped it off..

Build quality seems pretty good, and damn this thing is loud! Look forward to practicing ... when everyone else on my street is either out of town or have gone deaf..

Having a ball making noise that occasionally resembles a musical tone!

My dog does not appreciate my daily practice!!

Feeling a little better on tone quality daily but have not achieved a good relaxed grip yet!
