Matt Gleeson, a Melbourne based live music photographer, has an archive containing literally hundreds of thousands (he's never got round to counting the exact number) of photographs of live music. His photographs have appeared on album sleeves, posters and in the award winning Punks 4 West Papua documentary film.
A Shot In The Dark is Matt's second book and will feature over 50 great Australian punk, thrash, ska, folk punk and hard rock bands including:

The book will also contain features on both the Nevermind the Warp’d Tour Festival, and the annual Punk’s Pub Crawl in Melbourne and include plenty of images of punters enjoying the best of what’s live and local.
A Shot In The Dark comes in professionally printed soft and hard cover editions, containing 128 pages and over 200 photographs documenting our live and local music scene.
The book will be released Dec 1, 2018. Purchasers of the book who attend the launch show in Melbourne (details TBA) will have the cost of shipping refunded if they pick up their purchased copy of the book from the show.
