ALL STRETCH GOALS UNLOCKED! CONGRATS EVERYONE!!!
I have a bunch of cool stretch goals planned if we are able to raise enough funding past the initial goal. I've tried to focus on goals that upgrade components. All stretch goals will be incorporated in EVERY copy of Bullfrogs. Your support makes Bullfrogs a better game for everyone.
Custom shaped Frog and Bullfrog pieces will be included in every copy of Bullfrogs!
Additional Game Mode: Solitaire Variant
Add $8 to your pledge for each copy of the Solitaire Variant you'd like. This includes 2 custom dice from Chessex and a full color rulesheet.
Click the green "Manage Pledge" button on the top right of this page to add the additional $8 to your pledge. When the kickstarter is complete, I will send out a survey where you can indicate how many you want.
In Bullfrogs, 2-4 players ages 8+ take control of warring factions of frogs and fight over lily pads in a pond over the course of 20-40 minutes.
Weapons clash, water splashes and the booming battle cries of armored bullfrogs ring out across the moonlit swamp. Amphibian armies leap from lily pad to lily pad in their desperate struggle to win control of the pond.
- PLAY a Lily Pad Card from a hand of 3 cards to the table.
- TAKE ACTIONS to Deploy Frogs or Bullfrogs to Lily Pad Cards or Sabotage another player's Frogs by pushing or pulling them to adjacent cards.
- SCORE Lily Pad Cards that have all their spaces filled by Frogs and Bullfrogs. Calculate the strength of each faction to determine the winner. The strongest faction on the Lily Pad Card scores it and it sinks to the bottom of the pond. The weaker factions scatter to adjacent Lily Pad Cards and any disconnected Lily Pad Cards on the table shift to reshape the game board.
- DRAW a Lily Pad Card.

Printing a card game is expensive. Without the help of backers on Kickstarter, Bullfrogs simply just will not exist. I need your support to make this game a reality. The design is complete. The art is complete. Now, all I need is enough people who think Bullfrogs is as cool and fun as I do to join me and we can fire up the printing press!
Over the course of developing Bullfrogs, I've been fortunate enough to work with Luis Francisco, my graphic designer. In addition to being a great artist, he's also part of a Brazilian publishing company -- Funbox Jogos. After playing the prototype of the game, they were so excited about Bullfrogs that they wanted to publish their own version in Brazil. So, this Kickstarter does not ship to Brazil, but Brazilian gamers can preorder it from my partners HERE.

Risks and challenges
Every project has risks. I've outlined some common areas of risk in boardgame projects and how I've done my best to address them.
> Artwork: All the artwork for the game is complete, with the exception of any last minute tweaks before sending the final files off to the manufacturer.
> Component Quality: I've worked with and built a great relationship with one of the best game manufacturers around, Panda Game Manufacturing (www.pandagm.com). Their proven track record on games like Eclipse, Terra Mystica, Pandemic, Belfort, and Mice & Mystics, proves they make great games with a high standard to quality.
> Delivery Timeline: Unexpected delays out of my control can always occur (i.e. component shortage, manufacturer issues, customs delays, etc...). For the production schedule on Bullfrogs, I've used very conservative estimates to account for unknowns and bumps in the road.
> Fulfillment: I have received multiple estimates and plan to work with established fulfillment companies that have proven track records for delivering quickly and efficiently all over the world.
> Premiere Project: Even though I have spent endless hours researching Kicktstarter as well as participating in many Kickstarters, this is my first project. I have done my best to foresee and minimize any obstacles by studying issues that have been stumbling blocks for creators in the past.
This is Thunderworks Games' first time running a Kickstarter campaign, manufacturing a game and distributing a game, but I feel I've done a good job ensuring that there is a solid plan in place to deliver this great game to you. Also, in my life outside of this campaign, I have over a decade of project management experience on large-scale software projects. I will leverage that experience and apply it to this project by anticipating issues and sidestepping hurdles that may arise.
I believe in this project and I'd appreciate your support. I am dedicated to transparency throughout this campaign. This game is for you, the gamer. Let's make Bullfrogs a reality together.
