I'm creating a monthly, live, variety show called Good Gracious. We'll highlight Atlanta and the South's creative and talented characters in music, philanthropy, arts, and more. Imagine Ed Sullivan Show based in the South and you get the idea.
This show is a one-of-a-kind mix of music, interviews, comedy, arts, and more. It's the kind of show you take your friends from out of town to so they can see how cool Atlanta really is.
Imagine hearing some incredible live MUSIC, seeing hilarious COMEDY, hearing great FOOD talk, experiencing amazing ARTISTS, and more. We're bringing the Southern community together to shine.
The performance will take place in a theater in front of a live audience. Our ultimate goal is to have a radio broadcast partner.
I'm raising $15,000 in 20 days to rent the theater, pay for equipment, hire technicians, market the event, and insure everyone has an amazing experience. Theaters ain't cheap, especially when you're looking to seat between 400-800 people. And I definitely want this to be a quality show that entertains folks and makes our talented performers want to come back again and again
This will become a signature event for the Atlanta community.
Risks and challenges
Risks are that no one shows up. Good talent and a unique, quality show will solve this problem.
Challenges are juggling schedules of available talent and making allowances for all of their needs. Building a solid reputation of focusing on the artists and creators will insure that the show will go on as promised.
There will always be "surprises" and knowing that prepares me for any issues that arise. Having community support and a network of fans is crucial to the longevity of Good Gracious.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
