Proofs and Comic-Con
It's an exciting day as we move ever closer to fully realizing Michael Zulli's Fracture of the Universal Boy: Today the printer's proof arrived from China!
In our first image, we have the final proofs for checking and confirming the artwork, as well a just a hint of the cover proof.
Next, we have our bluelines, which are used to double-check that everything is where it's supposed to be, and that all the pages are present and in the right order.
And everything looks great!
This is our last step before actually going to press, which is where we're headed next.
Once the books are printed, they'll be wrapped, boxed and packed on a boat coming from China. We're still a ways out from getting this into everybody's hands, but once our printer confirms the final schedule, we'll be able to get a shipping schedule together so we can officially get this in your hands.
That being said... We are having 100 copies of Fracture of the Universal Boy flown in in time for Comic-Con International 2011. And even better: we'll also be flying Michael Zulli himself out to Comic-Con! To those of you who will be attending, we'd very much like you to stop on by so we can thank you personally for all of the support for this book. And, of course, you'll be able to take the book home with you!
