"...an entertaining game of card draftin', pre-plannin', gunslingin' hilarity!"
-Ryan Metzler, Dice Tower Reviews
"...An evocative, fun, and fast paced game where you're trying to out-think, out-steal, and out-gun your opponents. It's a blast!"
-Chris Darden, Designer of Dungeon Roll

"There is no such joy in the tavern as upon the road thereto..."
-Cormac McCarty , Blood Meridian
The bartender addresses you as you walk through the dusty entrance:
"Hey, you there! That's right. Step up to the bar and grab yourself a drink! The poker game is about to begin. Right over there. Yeah, them fellers right there."
"There's always room for one more..." he says with a grin. And then - "get three coffins ready. My mistake, four coffins..."
With your weapons at your side-
- you saunter over. With a gun in your hand, nothing's going to stand in your way. What's the worst that could happen...?
First we start with your gun belt:
-which has three slots. Cards will be drafted (pass around and choose one at a time) and placed in each slot.
After all three slots are filled, players take turns resolving their cards. There are many different types of cards to choose from.
Fire! Let's you fire your weapon. Cover allows you to hide behind objects in the tavern. Mad Dash is a fast grab for cash!
And Thrown Chair (among others) adds a dexterity element where you literally THROW the card at your opponents player mat. If any part of the card hits the player mat, then you've just hit that opponent.
In addition to these most commonly seen cards, there are a ton of single effect cards that keep the game lively and interesting, chock full of violence and greed...
The game ends when you are the last player standing -OR- when the chips run out, and you are the player with the most poker chips!

Hi! My name's Aaron Belmer, and I have a couple of game designs under my belt (Sanitarium and Conquest of Speros). I love everything there is about games and game design, everything from helping new game designers tweak their designs, to marathon brainstorming sessions, watching a new game come to life.
I'm the organizer for our St. Louis Board Game Design Meetup. We do a lot of work playtesting designs, providing value feedback, and building a community of support.
When Chuck brought 'Blood Money' (later to be named A Fistful of Dinero) he blew us all away with how much fun and excitement he packed into a little box. I knew we had to publish it. So I started my own publishing company Magic House Games and here we are today!
A Fistful of Dinero is my first published game, and it would simply not be possible for me to publish it without crowd-funding. I believe it's a great game, and I really want to be able to share Chuck's superb design with you.
And after A Fistful of Dinero hits its funding goal, your continued pledges make the game even better through extra content and component upgrades.
At all times, though, I will be listening to you. The beauty of Kickstarter is that it's a platform that allows communication with the community before the game reaches 100% completion.
You are investors, all of you, and believers in me and this project, and for that I'm grateful. Any and all feedback is always welcome and appreciated.
And if nothing else, the pledge is a significant discount off the retail price (estimated MSRP $40) of the game!
EVERY copy of the game will include:
1 Game box
1 16 page rulebook
20 poker chips (upgraded from cardboard chits to plastic if we hit stretch goal)
14 'ammo markers'
140 cards (upgraded to the best most expensive card stock, due to dexterity element of the game, assuming stretch goal is hit)
2 D6 dice
6 high quality player mats
Kickstarter copies will include any unlocked stretch goal weapons mentioned in STRETCH GOALS section, as well as a PDF for the Duel minigame.
MEET THE TEAM!

Aaron is a 38 year mortgage banker, which is how he pays for his board game habit/hobby/obsession. He enjoys snowboarding, playing in bands, and spending time with his (pregnant yay!) wife Debbie, and his 4 year old daughter Cecilia. He is an organizer of both the St. Louis board game meetup and the St. Louis board game design meetup.
Charlie (right) is a 29 year old IT professional who has spent most of his life gaming. He is married to a non-gamer but has a 7 month old daughter who already enjoys chewing on meeples and cardboard. Charlie is primarily a thematic gamer with titles such as Earth Reborn, X-Wing, and Claustrophobia amongst his favorites. In addition to playing and designing, he stays involved in the hobby by writing reviews for http://www.2d6.org.
Mark Sellmeyer is a professional graphic designer and illustrator with Heeley Creative in St. Louis, and has been a hobbyist gamer and game designer for over 20 years. In 2003, Mark co-formed Dust Bunny Games with some friends and self-published Seasons: The Calendar Rummy game. In 2009, Mark won the Rio Grande game design competition at the Chicago Toy and Game Fair after winning regionally in St. Louis. His game, Spin Monkeys, was published in 2012. On a professional roll with game design, Mark's game Big Bang was acquired by Tasty Minstrel Games in 2013 and he has other games in active development. Mark is excited to be part of the Fistful of Dinero team, bringing his game design and graphic design knowledge to create a high quality, exciting game.
Risks and challenges
It's a dream come true to design and publish board games, and I'm incredibly excited to have the chance to bring memorable moments to tabletops around the world!
We're working with Panda GM, a trusted name in game manufacturing, and we know exactly what they need to produce quality product on schedule.
This will be a bit of a learning process with shipping and distribution, but we have confidence in our shipping company and in our distributor Homeland Games.
There are always risks and challenges, especially for a first time game company. However we have the knowledge, contacts, and true grit to make this game a reality and bring it to your family to enjoy.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
