I respect your decision to bow out and appreciate the courage that was required to do so. Better to exit before commitments were made than fade/crash during the project. As other projects have shown, the required effort and commitment is considerable and not to be taken lightly. I wish you success in your future endeavours.

Saw the update now. Ignore the previous comment.

Hmm that was a bit disappointing.
I think it would have surely have hit the project goal.

It would be more clearer if We could have known why you decided to do this.

I should have added good luck! As a project owner myself I know how hard it must have been to come to that conclusion.

The frustrating thing about moves like this is they discourage people from supporting small local vendors. I guess I'll just go buy my new wallet at the rack.

That's super lame. I love the db wallets and was pumped about this new idea and line. Failing to meet the goal is one thing but quitting early doesn't seem to be in the spirit of the company or Kickstarter in general.

Not mad at ya, just disappointed.

What is the exterior material and where will the wallets be manufactured?

    9. Nathan Edwards on June 2, 2011

My Version 3 Madras wallet has seen better days. Looking forward to the new ones!

db clay was one of the best customers we had when we started up Identi-Tape 11 years ago in Eugene, OR. We supplied him with duct tape for years, and now he's moved on to a higher level of art, design, and sophistication. We wish him the best of success! He has worked hard to get here.

I know all these dudes involved here and have worked many many years with them all ... they are SOLID and LEGIT, stand up fellas .... Really hope they blow their goal of 25k out of the water and get over 100k
