About this project
Across the decaying husk of a once vibrant world the battle rages. Desperate survivors strive to scavenge an existence from the hellish ruins that surround them. Battle-wagons constructed from scrap, spare-parts and a prayer to the savage gods go to war against aliens, demons and power-mad mutants!
Sulphur is an exhilarating game of futuristic table-top combat using 32mm vehicles and miniatures where players can design their own vehicles and match their forces to suit their own style of fighting. Challenge your opponents, create a force to exploit their weaknesses and be ready to exact revenge when they find yours first!
All models in this kickstarter will be hand cast in a fine detail Urethane resin.

The Main Event:Scavenger (Hollower) starter set.. 5K
This goal enables us to get the basic level game in production, with a multi part buggy with loads of options backed up by a scavenger (Hollower) squad lead by a hero. In game terms that's roughly a 10 point army depending on how you load out your vehicle.
The starter pack includes the vehicle, the scavenger squad and the hero as well as a pdf of the rules, 10 x D10 and 2 xD6
The Wraiths and terrain options are available separately.
Stretch goal 1 Halftrack Buggy.
This adds the long wheel base half tracked version of the vehicle. With two turret options, a plough/ram and an armoured fighting compartment on the rear, smoke launchers and an HMG. you can also keep the turret separate if you wish and have it as a stationary auto defence point, or you can put it in the previous buggy and have the pintle gunner in this one.
Stretch Goal 2: Unlocking the open crew compartments.
These both fit on the two previous buggies, for aesthetics but also adding a fighting compartment for picking off infantry units as you drive by.
Stretch Goal 3: The Dune Raider.
What a beast, bristling with fire power, you can add the pintle mounted gunner for more grenade launching action or an extra engine to keep you moving should you lose the other one, or add an extra burst of speed if both engines are still in play.
Stretch Goal 4: Heavy Weapon Team 1
The heavy weapon team is a staple of all scavenger (Hollower) armies, used to knock chunks off enemy vehicles this stubby rocket packs quite a punch.
Goal 5: The first of the Hollower Heroes.. Big Momma.
All heroes in Sulphur bring their own specific skill to the battle and each is capable of turning a game with those skills if used at the right moment. Big Momma is no exception, with her tough hide and ability to wield two guns, nice...
Goal 6: Og.
The first of hopefully many mutants, standing roughly 45mm tall, carrying an armoured door and a short range auto shotty that fires slug and frag rounds. Hard as nails.
Goal 7: Ashen.
One of the warrior heroes, a peerless fighter in close combat, well armoured and dressed in the tanned hides of people he has flayed. If you see him in the oppositions ranks, hide.
Goal 8: Buzz..
Handy in a fight but a specialist at assaulting light vehicles and cutting chunks off them. Comes with two head options (I'm afraid those pig tails are from a little girl he hollowed out to wear as a trophy).
Goal 9: Honey
Honey is a Hollower boss. Great leadership skills and tough at range or in close combat, a great all round hero. Just don't let her wrap that giant nut & bolt around your noggin.
Goal 10: The Volt Gunner
Does exactly what his name suggests, a heavy weapon expert, unleashing electrifying death in arcing, jumping, spasms. Neither vehicle or infantry are safe when he gets close.
Goal 11: Quad Mania!
We love our vehicles and little ones like these can be very effective. Fast, yet handy in a fight, there are currently two versions (only one shown below). Options for decoration are also being sculpted, different back packs, pouches, ammo stash, bits to attach to front and rear. We intend for you to have many options to "dress" your quads to your hearts desire. More quads will follow..
Goal 12: 2nd Hollower Squad.
No picture available as yet as they are still being sculpted. This is a warrior squad, experts in close combat. good all round troops that really pack a punch.
Goal 13: 2nd Heavy Weapon team.
No Image as they are still being sculpted. HMG Gunners, expert at suppressing troops at longer range or slicing them to shreds at closer range.
Goal 14: The Shing starter pack
The Shing are multi-part models of exo-skeleton power armoured troops, they are large models, roughly 45-50mm tall when put together (depending how you pose them). This pack contains enough parts to make the 5 troopers and 1 hero (hero not shown) This gives you great flexibility in pose and choice of weapon for your troopers. It also contains a pdf of the rules and 10 x D10 and 2 x D6.
Goal 15: The Quad Walker for the Shing.
Picture coming soon as its still being sculpted. This is a walker vehicle on 4 legs, it has a huge carapace and 3 weapon options to choose from, depending how you pose this it will be between 65mm and 75mm tall.
Goal 16: Printed rules and cards.
If we reach this goal we will replace all pdfs in all orders over £40 with a printed copy of the rules, 1 printed deck of asset cards and one printed set of terrain markers. After that, all extra monies will be ploughed into the production of more sexy vehicles, more Hollower troops and the development of the next factions.
All products are sculpted digitally and printed using a very high definition printer. Here is am example of a scavenger from the buggy printed:
Then we make moulds and cast them in high quality polyurethane resin, the results are excellent and capture all that yummy detail you see on the screen.

Risks and challenges
Too successful? Can this happen? Well if this does happen we are putting plans in place to increase productivity in casting, packing and shipping. We can already handle large quantities and don't see any issues with this project. More funds will result in more employed staff, which will in turn increase productivity.
Waiting times. If we hit 40k we expect to ship everything by March 2014. Any figure over the initial target but under that 40k total will shave time off the delivery dates. The longest time requirement for production is the 3D printing. the kind we are utilising is very very high detail, but its slow, which is why we have already started printing the starter pack.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
