Ready for test Drive

Posted by Dave Wilson (Creator)

We test drove the Parlor Car a few days ago but the video seems to have disappeared. Since then we changed all the shifters to lever type. The twist grip had to be operated with one's pinkie and there is no opposable thumb on that side of the hand. Not sure if you knew that. Lever shifters are on top of the hand grips and much better. They were only $7 per pair and came with cables, which are normally about that much without the shifters. Pictures coming soon. Other improvements have been made and work continues on the flotation and paddle wheels. We are ready to test drive but we're blocked in at the shipyard. We'll get out tomorrow most likely.

Mike Kelleher wrote a song about the Parlor Car.

You can play the song and read the lyrics. We'll have to make a music video for it soon.
