Our last 2 Kickstarters have primarily focused on individual Fantasy / Steampunk terrain, so we've decided to change it up for this one. We've developed a line of Sci Fi / Near Future terrain that work well as individual pieces, but can be brought together for an entire table worth of terrain!
All Terrain comes unassembled and unpainted, figures are for scale purposes only and also not included.
The terrain pieces are made primarily from MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard), and Cast Acrylic (windows, detail pieces, holographic ads, etc.). Additional details parts consist of Grayboard (very heavy duty pressed cardboard), Oilboard (a heavy duty paper, typically used in stencil making, that is flexible and takes paint well), Drinking Straws, and Styrene Rods. All of which holds up great under the rigors of heavy gaming.
TERRAIN IN ACTION
A quick video (no sound) of the entire table set being used for a game of Infinity with the regulation 4' by 4' layout. The video was shot at a LGS (Gigabites Cafe) with local players.
1 Set of Barricades includes Ten, 4" long by 1 7/8" high Barricades.
1 Set of Walls includes Six, 6" long by 2" high Walls.
1 Set of Walkways contains Four, 8" long by 2" wide walkways.
SMALL BUILDINGS SET
1 Set of Small Buildings contains Four, 4" by 4" by 4" Buildings.
The Bar has a 9" by 10" footprint with a removable roof for access to the interior.
SCATTER TERRAIN SET
1 Set of Scatter Terrain contains 10 individual pieces consisting of 2 Restrooms, 2 Data Terminals, 2 Dumpsters, 2 AC Units, and 2 Power Stations.
HOLOGRAPHIC ADVERTISMENT SET
1 Set of Holographic Advertisements contains 1 Large advertisement, 2 vertical advertisements, and 2 advertisement walls.
Unlike any other piece of terrain that you have ever seen, this Pool House is 20" long, 13" wide and 8.5" tall at it's highest point. With multiple levels and entry points this piece is an absolute blast to play on and makes for a great center piece!
The Office Building has a 10" by 10" foot print with a 10" height and opens up to reveal an 8" by 8" room that can be set up with different configurations.
The Full Table consists of 1 set of Barricades, Walls, Scatter Terrain, Holographic Ads, Walkways, and 1 Pool House, Office Building, and Bar.

** IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY **
We have kept the pledge levels as simple a possible to help avoid any confusion, but since there isn't any way to come up a pledge level for every possible combination, we've add our "Custom" pledge level to handle any special pledge requests.
If you want just one of something and you're in the U.S., just click that reward and pledge.
If you're an International Backer, just click the reward and add the additional amount for shipping (see the Shipping section below for more information on shipping).
But what happens if you want more of 1 reward, or a couple different rewards?
Simple, just add the amounts together and enter that amount in the "Custom Pledge" if you're in the U.S. and if you're an International Backer just add the appropriate extra for shipping.
But how will we know what you want?
After the Kickstarter has funded and is over, we'll send you a survey where you'll be able the tell us what you want.
For our US Backers shipping is included in the amount of the pledge.
For INTERNATIONAL BACKERS, we have this table:
If you are from a region that is not listed, contact us and we will figure out the rate.
We actually designed this terrain with International Shipping in mind and tried to keep things as light as possible. However with the US Postal Service hefty rate hike at the beginning of this year for international shipping this was the best we can do.
If you want just one of an item just add the appropriate amount to your pledge. However, if you want more of any items, take the item with the most expensive shipping cost, and then add HALF of the remaining items.
1 Pool House, 1 Bar, and 2 Barricades going to Canada would be $15 (for the Pool House since it's the most expensive) and then + $5 (half of the Bar) + $5 (half of 2 barricades ) = $25.
Also, to help out on the shipping costs, if you have friends who also want to get in on this project we don't have a problem putting everyone under 1 backer (i.e. sending all the rewards to a single address) so you can save on the shipping. Just send us a message and we'll work it out.
In short, we've had some ups and downs when it comes to stretch goals. The down side is that we seem not to be able to pick good funding numbers and always end up adjusting them. The upside is that you guys make really good suggestions for stretch goals! So what we have decided to do is play this one loose and just kind of see how things go. We have a few ideas for stretch, but we want to hear your ideas. As far as what pledged levels we will implement, we'll see how that goes as well. But there will be stretch goals and we are sure with your help they'll be obtainable and awesome!
In case you missed the comments or updates here the deal on the stretch goals.
$6,000 = New scatter terrain set. The set will include arcade games, communications arrays, cargo pods, advertisements that hang off the buildings, and bus stops.
$8,000 = New building. It will either be a Diner, Landing Pad, or Warehouse (we'll let you guys decide)
Because we already have the laser and all the designs are finished, we can start production right after the money clears Kickstarter and we can order the materials. However, some of the materials are coming from China, hence the January 2014 delivery date. We will be producing rewards based on the order of the pledges. So if you're the first pledge, your order gets done first. So the sooner you pledge, the sooner you get your reward. It’s just that simple.
To Kari Salomon for taking all the great pictures!
To Taylor Holloway for his advice and input on this project!
To Gary Smith for his work on the graphics for the Holographic Ads!

Risks and challenges
The risks to this project are minimum. We have the equipment we need and multiple people trained in their use. All of the designs have already been developed and perfected and we have ironed out the kinks with our experience from our first Kickstarter, which was demonstrated by how smooth our second Kickstarter ran.
The only real challenge is if the project goes big, and in which case we will order the necessary lasers to handle the increased demand.
In order to keep you informed we put out weekly updates so if there are any problems you will be aware of them, and how we are addressing them.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
