In this unauthorized parody, we take what "Wicked" did for the Witch of the West and apply it to the Royal Vizier from Aladdin.
Ticket and Album Update
We are no longer offering tickets (general or VIP) or the cast album as rewards. This is purely for logistical reasons! We had an overwhelmingly positive response (which is fantastic), but we want to make sure that we're selling the tickets in a way that makes sense (for the fans and for us). The cast album will be available for purchase at a later date, and over 1000 more tickets (including regular and VIP) will be made available next month through the theater. Everyone that has already selected these rewards will get them, but if you haven't gotten them through the Kickstarter, no fear!
For people that selected ticket rewards, we will send a message to all backers at the end of the Kickstarter requesting your contact info and preferred dates.
Wow. We've gotten quite a response so far! We're so thankful for and honored by your contributions! Never did we expect to reach our initial goal so quickly! We thought we'd give you all an update on exactly how this money is going to be spent. As you know, the costs of putting on one of these StarKid shows add up quickly (to give you a basic idea, our show "Holy Musical B@man!" cost over $100,000). Our original intention was to put up "Twisted" for as little money as possible, but it looks like we're going to have a bigger budget than we ever expected! We want you to know that we're going to put every penny into making this show as good as it can possibly be. Below is an image showing some of our Stretch Goals! For each benchmark we hit, new things will be added to this production! Take a look! And again, thanks so much for your support!!!!

Risks and challenges Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
Putting on a full-length musical is always challenging. But this will be Team Starkid's 7th stage production. We're ready for anything.
Kickstarter doesn't let you make multiple contributions, they just have it all count towards one contribution and then you pick which one reward you want. But you can make a second contribution with a different account/email address if you'd like! Sorry for the confusion--we weren't aware of that when we first started this up!
If you've selected the GA ticket or VIP ticket rewards: On the last day of the campaign (4/22), we'll blast out a message to everyone in this tier that will request your email address and date of the show you'd like to attend.
If there are any special requests or questions regarding tickets/show dates, feel free to message us--but for the sake of organization (and our sanity!) PLEASE try and wait until 4/22.
You only get what is listed on that reward. It would be confusing otherwise because some rewards are ticket based, and some are for people that can't make it out to Chicago.
It's okay! :) We'll blast out a message on 4/22 (after the campaign) for your email or mailing addresses so we can ship out or digitally send your rewards.
My friends and I bought tickets separately--how can we make sure we're all going to be able to get tickets for the same day?
We know that this is kind of an odd way to do things in terms of tickets, so we really want to try and work with everyone to make sure they get the dates they need. That being said, while we are going to try VERY HARD, there is a chance that certain dates will fill up. When we send out the message on 4/22 to request dates, we'll have a space for your first and second pick of dates (that can definitely be on the same weekend).
Wait, the two person VIP option says "two VIP tickets and A ticket to the show that night." How many tickets am I getting, here?
This was actually a typo/weird way to phrase that sentence, and we found out the hard way that you can't edit a reward's description after a Kickstarter is live.
With the $200 VIP option, you get two VIP tickets which include tickets to the actual show and to the Meet and Greet. So two tickets that will get you in to both!
We'll be making announcements regarding some of these soon, but for the time being I'm afraid we aren't able to answer these yet! Please check our Updates section, and look out for more info shortly!
