Thank you for checking out our project. We are super excited to share with you our revolutionary new idea -- it's a better way to bike, allowing you to hop on your bike trainer and bike the world right from your living room or gym. With your support, we will transform the "Tour De Rue" biking technology into an innovative solution used around the globe everyday, putting you in control of each turn.
Right now we have a product we are passionate and believe in, but it's not yet complete! The clear outcome for this Kickstarter is to stretch the normal limitations of bicycling at home or at the gym and push the envelope of the new biking exploration. We must raise enough buzz and support to elevate "Tour De Rue" to the next level and take the game through the rest of design and final product development. We will use the existing prototype model of the game and, with your support, in just a few short months it will be transformed into a useful, user-friendly, finished product that can take you biking anywhere in the world and, most importantly, put you in the driver's seat.
What is the "Tour De Rue" biking system?
"Tour de Rue" takes the equipment you already have at home and then bridges the gap between you and the incredible virtual world. This game lets you use the widely available KinectTM sensor to bring your biking experience onto your PC or Mac. Your virtual ride can then be viewed on your TV or projector for an incredible immersive experience.
We are delivering the software piece that connects your KinectTM sensor to your computer and allows you to quickly and easily tour the world virtually. Additionally, with the help of the advanced technology of the KinectTM sensor your movements put you in the driver’s seat – taking you anywhere you want to go and providing you with a workout you never dreamed possible.
Where's development at?
We currently have the first software prototype version in progress and have working solutions available to fully program and develop the final game. The KinectTM sensor technology, which is currently being used with popular dance games on the Xbox like Zumba, is linked to either a PC or Mac computer with just a USB port. Initially the game will be released on a disc or download for use on a normal internet browser. As the project advances, future versions will use existing Bluetooth sensors and mobile apps for smartphones and tablets to make Tour de Rue even more accessible and exciting to use.
What's the money for?
As mentioned, we are currently developing the robust, completed version of the software for Tour de Rue. Our project has come to a halt because we need funding to tie design elements together and complete the programming so that our game becomes easily accessible for everyone, in one awesome, deliverable product.

How long are we thinking this will take?
If funded, our expected launch date for our final game will be late spring 2013.
