Lightweight, compact, and capable.

We have been working on these rods for over a year now and we finally have it all figured out. The Mini series! Using a high quality carbon fiber material sourced from Korea we have been able to make the Mini Sawtooth and Mini Teton. The Mini Sawtooth is a 9 foot rod. It only weighs 1.1 ounces and is 10 inches when collapsed. The Mini Teton is a 12 foot rod. It only weighs 1.9 ounces and is 10 inches when collapsed.

The Mini Sawtooth handles little fish amazingly well. We recommend it for fish 14 inches and under. Great for those small mountain streams and lakes in hard to reach places.

The Mini Teton can handle the small to medium sized fish. With the lightweight and compact ability of these rods there is no reason not to keep it with you in your car, pocket, backpack, etc.

Each rod comes in a protective sock and rod tube. And each rod package comes with everything you need to fish. Rod, rod sock, rod tube, line, line clips, flies, and tippet.

There is a slightly rubberized grip on the first section of the rod so that it is not slippery. Each rod comes with a lifetime warranty, we stand behind our product because we love fishing so much and want everyone to enjoy it. That means being able to use a rod that you have bought. So if there are any issues or problems we strive to get them solved within a week to get you back on the water.

Tenkara is a simple form of fly fishing that requires a rod, line, and fly. The rods are collapsible making them extremely easy to transport and move from location to location. You can essentially be fishing in 30 seconds.

The line attaches to a piece of fabric at the end of the rod called the lillian. Then it can be wrapped around the line clips for storage. At the end of your line there is a tippet ring where you can simply attach the length of tippet that you need, and then your fly.

At just under 10 inches, these rods will fit in a pocket, backpack, briefcase, or just about anywhere!

Each rod comes with a protective tube that you can use for transporting it. however, the rods are built pretty tough so you can choose whether or not to use the tube or not.

George is a fan.

Risks and challenges
Developing this rod has been long in the works for us. In order for it to be lightweight and strong we had to source a high quality carbon and instead of 8 sections like a normal Tenkara rod these rods have 15 and 20 sections. This makes production very difficult, precise, and much more expensive. Our biggest challenge has been getting a super high quality rod and keeping the price affordable.
We have been producing Tenkara rods for several years now so we are pretty confident in our ability to deliver a quality and consistent product. After our project we will buy all the materials and begin production. Our biggest challenge will be producing mass quantities of this rod and maintaining the consistency of the build. It is a new rod for us but we are confident in our abilities. We plan on delivering during the month of December so that people get them in time for Christmas. This is a very attainable time frame. We have all of our processes ready to roll we are just waiting for funds to give it the green light!
The other challenge that we may face is damaged rod during use or storage. That is why we are offering free lifetime warranties. If any section of the rod is broken we can easily send a replacement section.
