Kings of Israel on its way to the port!

Posted by Funhill Games (Creator)

I was alerted just a few hours ago that the English copies of Kings of Israel were on their way to the port.  The race now begins to get them to the US and to all the backers!

Christmas Notifications

Since it is uncertain whether the copies of Kings of Israel will reach some of the backers in time for Christmas, I decided I would like to offer to set up a postcard notification service for anyone wishing to give copies of Kings of Israel to someone for Christmas (or Hanukkah).  If you were planning on doing that this year, please contact me if you would like me to send that person a postcard stating that a copy of Kings of Israel is on its way.  The postcard will show the box cover on the front and on the back it will explain that while the game might not make it by Christmas, someone is giving them Kings of Israel this year.

Anyone who is interested in this service please e-mail me at with the recipient's name and address (or addresses if you ordered multiple copies) by November 8th so I know how many post cards to make.  This is a free service and applies to both US and international backers.  Please also mention whether the game will be a Christmas or Hanukkah gift so I will know how to word the postcard.

Kings of Israel in French!

This has been news in the making for a little while now but it is now official:  Kings of Israel is being translated and distributed in French!  I will give more details when the time comes, but I am excited about this new opportunity for more people to play Kings of Israel in their native tongue!

Kings of Israel the Video Game

Just a quick update that the Kings of Israel video game is in a very playable form now!  All of the Blessings and Sin and Punishment cards have been programmed and I am currently just testing the game over and over and looking for bugs and ways to improve.  The game really feels smooth and, while their are bugs to stomp and more pieces to complete, it is quite fun to play even in its early state.  The soundtrack is being worked on and it is sounding great, and more illustrations are being done to add more character to the kings.  Keep your eyes open for more news soon and don't forget to bid for a chance to appear in the Kings of Israel video game at the Jack Vasel Memorial Fund Auction here:

Once again, thank you everyone for your support!

Out of curiosity, what engine are you using for the video game? Unity?
