We have been invited to perform in New York City's Carnegie Hall in October 2013! So if you find yourself in the New York City area in October, we hope to see you there! Our concert is in Carnegie's Weill Hall on Saturday, October 26 at 2:00pm and is part of the DCINY Distinguished Concerts Artists Series.
This is an enormous step both for ensemble: Périphérie as a whole and for the 11 individual musicians that comprise EP. Since most of our musicians live far from New York, the financial burden of making this project possible is considerable. Our goal is to raise $7000 to help cover travel, instrument transport, lodging, renting rehearsal space, and honoraria for our musicians.
Supporting the ensemble for this project means supporting those individuals who make the ensemble possible. Your support not only makes this project a possibility financially, it affirms and encourages each individual member of EP in their musical endeavors--in sharing their music with others around them.
Please join us in recognizing great art of our time, in the ultimate performance space. Great art is not possible without the generous support of patrons. We hope you will join us in helping to meet and even exceed our goal!
Ensemble: Périphérie is Ginny Armstrong, Martha Councell-Vargas, Michelle Crouch, Luke Dahn, Joseph Dangerfield, Ann DuHamel, Stephen Fine, Yasmin Flores, Charles Akert, and Tricia Park. Our Carnegie Program features the music of Luke Dahn, Joseph Dangerfield, Irina Dubkova, David Gompper and Louis Karchin.

Risks and challenges
The biggest challenge we face in completing our project is financial. Bringing a group of 11 musicians half way across the country to New York, finding adequate lodging and rehearsal space in New York City is a challenge. Fortunately, we have a group of musicians that are enthusiastically committed to this project and to the aims of Ensemble: Périphérie--to share and communicate with others a love and joy for new music. We hope you will join us in reaching these aims!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
