NOMATIC was born and raised on Kickstarter. We have successfully funded and delivered four projects here on Kickstarter. In 2014 we launched the BASICS Wallet, in 2015 the BASICS Notebook, in 2016 The NOMATIC Travel Bag, and in 2017 The NOMATIC Backpack and Travel Pack. The NOMATIC Messenger and Laptop bags were designed for everyday use. The main difference between the two is size. The Messenger bag holds 15 liters while the Laptop bag holds 10 liters. The Messenger bag has all the features found in the Laptop bag, plus a few added features as well. First, let's run through a couple shared features on both bags, then we will dive into each bag individually.

The Messenger bag has all of the features that the Laptop bag offers plus a few more. Below you will find some of the Messenger bag specific features, as well as the specific location of some of the shared features in the NOMATIC Messenger bag.
Each NOMATIC Messenger Bag includes 2 customizable panels, allowing you to decide what and how you carry. As you can see below, the dividing walls on the compartments panel can be adjusted to fit your needs from day to day.
Marketing - During our campaign we worked with a number of different advertising agencies including Matix Labs, Backerkit, Eventys, and Jellop. The two main contributors were Matix Labs and Backerkit. Matix Labs ran the duration of the campaign and Backerkit gave us a boost at the end. Jellop and Eventys contributed to the overall funding of this campaign as well.

Here at NOMATIC, we stand behind all of our products. Both the NOMATIC Laptop and Messenger Bags come with lifetime warranties. If we can't fix or repair a manufacture defect, we will replace the product, no questions asked.
We offer a 30 day no risk return policy. If you are not 100% satisfied with the quality of the product within 30 Days of receiving your order, simply send it back and we will refund you, no questions asked. But don't worry, we know you are going to love it!
CUSTOMS & DUTIES INFORMATION
NOMATIC cannot mark orders as gifts. This is illegal, so we will not be able to do this.
Our prices DO NOT include VAT, GST or other country taxes.
As many of you know, our terms of sale for international orders are FOB destination. This means that you pay all freight and duties or taxes. As we are shipping these products all over the world, it is impossible for us to build in the various duties, VAT and GST tax for each location through Kickstarter.
We found this handy tool, that can assist you in calculating duties. Remember to convert the U.S. dollars to your local currency:
For international customers who are required to pay customs, you will receive an email from GFS Gateway, First Mile, or your local customs authorities asking for payment to have your order processed through customs. Unfortunately, there is no legal way around customs. Once you make that payment to the customs broker your order will be processed for final delivery.
Within 24 hours of your order being shipped you will receive a tracking link with your shipping details. When you receive your tracking #, please keep an eye out for the package. We use a shared post shipping method to have your order delivered at an affordable price. Your order will ship out from our shipping facility in Salt Lake City, UT with a major shipping company, or with a tracking link from First Mile.
Your order will be handled by UPS, USPS, RRDonnelley or DHL up to entry of your country. Once your order enters your country your order will be handed off to your local post office for final delivery. International transit will have a 7-21 Business day delivery time. U.S Domestic shipments will take 3-5 business days.
If our shipping carrier attempts delivery to you and you don't get it because you’re not there, wrong address, moved without notifying us, and the package returns back to our warehouse, it will be the buyer's responsibility to pay the shipping fee to reship the order. When you receive your tracking #, please keep an eye out for the package.
Risks and challenges
There are always challenges and unforeseen obstacles that arise when trying to bring a product to life. There are so many moving parts that must be managed. However, with this being our fifth product launch, we can confidently say that we are experienced in this process and have developed systems and processes to mitigate the risks and obstacles that will arise.
