Note: Caleb mistakenly opened a bottle of old, stale beer when it was time to film. The beer we serve you will not be awful like the one at 1:56 - it will be delightful. Honest.

We at Asana Alehouse have had two passions for years: Yoga and beer.
Yoga has helped us develop patience, recover from injuries both physical and mental, and has helped us find an enthusiasm for life and all it has to offer. And well, so has beer.
So now we have a third passion: To bring these principles that have helped us improve our lives from yoga and apply them to our brewing to create some pretty fantastic beer. Most importantly, we want to bring the experiences of yoga and craft beer and share them with you.
Purity. We bring this principle from yoga and apply it to our brewing to bring a pure, clean, filtered flavor to our beer. We cool it quickly and filter it carefully, and we strive to be as consistent as possible.
The essence of Ahimsa is non-violence in our hearts. It is unconditional love - compassion. We know that we are nothing without our community. We hope to collaborate with other breweries to bring fun, interesting projects to Little Rock, including ways to bring people together. Through understanding and appreciation for others, we want to help this community flourish and grow. After all, we're in this together.
A burning enthusiasm to learn. We love doing this, and we are always trying to learn more about the science of brewing beer. We promise to keep learning and experimenting. We'll be having fun, and we're inviting you do have fun with us. This is what we bring when it comes to sharing our finely brewed craft beer with you.
These are the principles we bring with us when we brew every batch of beer, and these are the principles that will make Asana Alehouse a uniquely crafted experience that we know people will enjoy. We've been brewing since 2008 with a passion that we know you'll come to recognize in our beer. We've made our fair share of mistakes along the way, but that willingness to experiment along with our study of the craft has resulted in some very delicious recipes that we think would be enjoyed by any beer enthusiast, yogi, or just regular joe.
So help us to bring a high quality, unique brewery to Little Rock and we promise to work as hard as we can to share the wonderful gift of beer, brewed in a yogic fashion, and the wonderful gift of yoga to everyone with a taste for high quality brews and high quality yoga.
Our goal for this funding is to get some specific equipment that will enable our business to better provide its potential customers. We'll be getting a 3 bbl electric stainless system consisting of a HLT, a mash tun, a kettle, and fermenter. This equipment will immediately be put to use to help turn this project into a brick and mortar success!
Risks and challenges
We know this is a unique venture. We know it's not a combination that many (or any?) people have thought of before. It may take some time to recognize what we already know: It's a winning combination!
Getting the proper licensure, getting the best equipment, and setting up the best brick and mortar we can will certainly be difficult. There will undoubtedly be some unforeseen hiccups along the way. But we're dedicated to getting our brews, our yoga, and our experience out there to everyone. We've already done tons of marketing groundwork, with articles about us in newspapers and a segment on the local news and we're not going to stop there.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
