Almost there!

Backers,

We want to take a minute to 1) Update you on our progress and timeline and 2) apologize for taking WAY longer than we anticipated to get up and running. We should've done a much better job of keeping you in the loop, but we haven't at all forgotten about you.

The 10,000 piece 3-D puzzle of a distillery we've been building is almost complete, and we're just weeks away from firing up the stills. The last puzzle piece remaining is having water piped to the still condensers. Once complete, the State of Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission will send an agent down for a final inspection. And then we're off!

Pre-Opening Tours

If you backed us for one of our pre-opening tours, you'll be getting a phone call from us very soon to schedule your tour. We didn't want to bring you in before our spirits start flowing off the stills. We can talk all day about how the equipment is going to work, but it wouldn't be the full experience without seeing, smelling, and tasting what's being made.

With the exception of everyone that signed up for a Pre-Opening Tour, the distillery and tasting room WILL NOT be open to the public. Feel free to look through the windows, but we will remain strictly closed to build inventory for our big launch into the market.

We're very proud of the fact that everything sold under our name will be made under our roof. We have not contracted with other distilleries to make product for us. For that reason, it's going to take us around a month to produce enough inventory to be sure we don't run out when we open to the public and launch into stores. Our goal is to have the tasting room open and have product on store shelves in June.

Official Taste Testers

If you're one of our Official Taste Testers, your official gear package is just about complete. In our initial backer survey, the one question we forgot to ask was everyone's shirt size for your custom embroidered polo shirt. Can you shoot us a quick message with your size included? Again, we apologize for the delay in getting up and running - and definitely for the delay in getting your custom gear in your hands. For your patience, we're including a little something extra we hope you'll really enjoy.

Custom & Adopted Barrels

If you're the proud adoptive parent of one of our barrels, or the owner of a custom 5 gallon barrel, you should've received an email from us confirming what we'll be branding onto your barrel head. Empty barrels do have a shelf life before they begin to dry out and leak on us, so they will be ordered from the cooperage and customized in the order they were reserved here during our Kickstarter campaign.

We've had an enormous amount of interest in adopting these barrels post-Kickstarter. It's something we plan on continuing once we're open, but until all of your Kickstarter barrels are filled, we're only placing interested businesses and individuals on a wait list.

Thank You!

Huge thank you for your continued support, enthusiasm, and excitement for what WE are starting here in Clarksville. I hope you realize how much of a role you've played and continue to have in bringing Old Glory Distilling Co. to life. The journey has taken a few months longer than we'd planned ... but we're almost there!

Unfortunately I only paid enough for the rocks glasses, but I am still looking forward to giving your stuff a try!
