HOW TO PLAY
This game can be played with up to 2-6 players. Game play can last up to 45 minutes. There are 72 cards in all 22 animal cards and 50 trap cards.
Shuffle both the animal and trap cards and place them side-by-side facing down. 8 trap cards each are then dealt to the animal hunters. Animal hunters decide who goes first by rolling the dice or other methods starting the game play from left to right.
The animal hunter then plays his or her trap cards. They are only allowed to play up to 6 trap cards at their then.
After the animal hunter has laid down his or her trap cards they then turn over the animal card from the animal card deck. Animal hunters then have to match the dice (blue and red) to the animal match numbers on the animal card and or with the help of the trap cards you have used.
Animal hunters also have the help of the black dice which acts as a substitute and can be used for either the blue or the red die to match with the animal match card and or with the trap cards.
The white die is the trap die and it determines how many trap cards you are allowed to pick up at the end of your turn. Once you use your trap cards it goes back into the trap card deck.
The match trap cards are different from the opportunity trap cards. Playing a match trap card automatically gets you a match and if you happen to play both match cards (red and blue) that match the animal match numbers your trap is a success and you get the animal counting as 1 point.
Opportunity trap cards give you more opportunities in catching the animal. Rather then relying solely on the dice the opportunity trap cards opens up more opportunities within the red and blue animal match number.
The sabotage trap card allows you to sabotage any animal hunter that has caught a animal. Playing this cards allows you to then play up to 3 trap cards and 1 chance at rolling the dice. If the saboteur matches the same numbers with the dice or trap cards as the animal card the saboteur has successfully sabotaged the other animal hunters catch. The sabotaged animal cards then goes back into the bottom of the animal cards deck.
The second chance trap card allows you to roll the dice again if you were unsuccessful in catching to animal the first roll.
Animal hunters can also setup and play this card game by spreading out the animal cards like the card game memory. The rules are the same but for beginners animal hunters can play their trap cards AFTER they have drawn the animal card rather than BEFORE for easier play as you can see the animal match numbers then play your trap cards to your advantage.
The animal hunter with the most animals caught wins!
After some testing, I'am ready to get into production. I'am asking for $5,500 to order the first edition of the game. This bulk order will help keep the price point low for customers while still having high quality, full color, 300 gsm cards
While we would love to offer free shipping, there really is no such thing. Shipping is really expensive and we have tried to come up with pricing that accurately reflects our cost to get the game into your hands without creating a logistical nightmare on our side.
While we would love to get everyone their games at the same time, it is just not possible. There is a high likelihood that some areas of the world will get their games before others. Our commitment is to get the games ready and printed as fast as possible (I've already done a ton of the prep work). At the factory we will break out the shipments to each fulfillment company with instructions to them that they should begin shipping as soon as possible upon receipt.
Risks and challenges
I've spent 3 months testing gameplay, and seeking out printers/fabricators to ensure the best quality gaming experience for the lowest price. Our biggest challenge will be seeing whether this game is worth it. I hope you enjoy this game and support by pledging and sharing this project! thank you very much for your support!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
