Phoenix is here. Sorry I post this update after a long time as expected.
During last two months. We refactored the firmware and iOS/Android apps. We are waiting for the approval of iOS app (it was rejected by new guideline of Apple's review policy, but new submitted version solved the problem). Once it is approved, both Android and iOS app will be released!
We have some major updates with new firmware and apps:
Smart Scene Mode
We remade the smart scene mode. The new scene mode supports smart focus stacking, auto HDR, long exposure simulation, Denoise and preset time-lapse.
Smart Focus Stacking
In this scene, we just need to select a region of the target (or the whole scene), and Aurga will automatically calculate the best focus step and count, shoot and merge the final image. The maximum number of merging photo is 15 for now. We'll open the settings in the future.
Remade HDR Mode
The camera's auto HDR is discarded in new version. New HDR mode supports to bracket shots by Ev., Shutter Speed or ISO. And we could set bracket step and bracket times to take bracketing photos as more as we want.
New HDR mode supports 3 program mode: Manual (M), Aperture (A/Av) or Shutter Speed (S/Tv).
- M mode supports shutter speed or ISO bracketing.
- A/Av mode supports Ev. or ISO bracketing.
- S/Tv mode supports Ev., Shutter Speed or ISO bracketing.
Further more, programmable intervalometer and Focus Stacking support HDR bracketing too.
We'll bring some image editing features in apps:
- White Balance
- Color Tint
- Curve editor
New Scene Mode
- Starry Night
Benefit from the powerful computing of the latest Android/iOS devices, we could do more complex works with the mobile devices. We are doing some researches on image matting for scenes and improve the accuracy of object recognition (like water, sky, mountain, field and so on), and merge the different parts with suitable algorithms.
We need many scenes of stacking photos to improve the quality of stacking results. It is very appreciated that you could share your raw photos (JPEG or RAW format) to us by google drive or dropbox (please send a link to email@example.com). We grantee all the photos will never be used in business, and the author owns all rights of the photos.
